Picnic Cooler with Off/On Spigot and two Sealing Rings with Apertures
A picnic cooler that includes a food compartment, a gas tank compartment, an off/on electric spigot, two sealing rings with fixed-size apertures, and two cooling apparatuses. The cooling apparatus includes a twisting piping system and an upper metallic plate that serves as the bottom of the food compartment.
Automated cryogenic storage system
An automated cryogenic storage system includes a freezer and an automation system to provide automated transfer of samples to and from the freezer. The freezer includes a bearing and a drive shaft though the freezer, the drive shaft being coupled to a rack carrier inside the freezer and adapted to be coupled to a motor. The automation module includes a rack puller that is automatically positioned above an access port of the freezer. The rack puller engages with a sample rack within the freezer, and elevates the rack into an insulating sleeve external to the freezer. From the insulating sleeve, samples can be added to and removed from the sample rack before it is returned to the freezer.

A transportation system includes a truck chassis with a battery supplying power to electric motors for rotating wheels coupled to the chassis; a cooled chamber having a heat exchanger expelling an exhaust gas therefrom; a power generator coupled to the heat exchanger to use the exhaust gas to generate electricity; and a power module carried by truck chassis and for during normal operation, and selectively powering said active refrigeration device with at least one of said battery and said motor.

A modular shipping system includes a bulk shipping space; and a base to support a pair of stackable cryogenic shipping subunits positioned in the bulk shipping space during long distance shipment, each subunit having a plurality of feet on a subunit bottom adapted to rest above a plurality of corresponding foot receptacles on a subunit lid, each subunit having its own cryogen connection source to maintain temperature during transit.
Freezer with remote management
A freezer includes a plurality of evaporators coupled to a payload bay with a multiplicity of coolant tubes in each evaporator, wherein each tube enters and then exits the payload bay, further comprising one or more cryogenic valves coupled to the coolant tubes; a pump to force coolant flowing through the evaporators; sensors coupled to the evaporators of the freezer to monitor vital parameters of the freezer; a processor; a wireless telemetry system to communicate one or more measured characteristics of the freezer in accordance with a service level agreement to a remote computer; and at least one notification component that provides a notification associated with a specific customer responsive to the measured characteristic of the service crossing a pre-defined threshold.
Low Temperature Storage Systems and Related Methods
A low temperature storage system includes a cabinet housing and a drawer that is slidable in and out of the cabinet housing. The drawer includes an interior wall and an exterior wall defining an insular space therebetween and a support grid disposed within an interior region defined by the interior wall of the drawer. The support grid defines multiple receptacles arranged in a matrix configuration and respectively sized to receive a storage carrier. The drawer further includes first markings and second markings printed on the drawer in a manner such that any one of the first markings and any one of the second markings together correspond to one of the multiple receptacles arranged in the matrix configuration.
Cooler
A cooler is provided which has various improvements. The cooler may be a passive cooler or may be actively cooled for providing desirable cooling effects. The cooler may include an accessory system, for example, with bottle or can holders or a post holder which utilizes the weight of the cooler to support a sunshade. The accessory system may be positioned in various locations of the cooler, one location being in a recess which is utilized to open the cooler lid. The smart cooler may also comprise a cushion assembly which may be placed on an upper surface of the lid and may have straps to retain the cushion on the lid. The lid may be formed to accept and retain a cushion retaining feature so that the cushion does not excessively move from the top surface of the lid.
Container for cryopreservation and transportation
An object of the present invention is to provide a container for cryopreservation and transportation which is excellent in maintainability and can appropriately control the temperature of an object to be frozen. The present invention provides a container for cryopreservation and transportation used to transport an object to be frozen, including: a thermal insulation container having an upper opening; a thermal insulation lid which closes the upper opening of the thermal insulation container; and a cooling unit which is held in the thermal insulation container while absorbing liquid nitrogen, wherein a housing space for accommodating a storage tool for storing the object to be frozen is provided inside the thermal insulation container, and the cooling unit is detachable through the upper opening of the thermal insulation container while the storage tool located in the housing space is housed in the thermal insulation container.
