PORTABLE INSTANT COOLING SYSTEM WITH CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE OBTAINED THROUGH TIMED-RELEASE LIQUID OR GASEOUS CO2 COOLANT FOR GENERAL REFRIGERATION USE IN MOBILE AND STATIONARY CONTAINERS

Standalone and self-contained cooling systems using compressed liquid and/or gas CO.sub.2 containers positioned in an insulated or non-insulated vessel encompassing a container which is either vertically positioned in an upright or an upside-down position.

The liquid and/or gas CO.sub.2 coolant is then released into a capillary system or flow metering system to allow the CO.sub.2 to enter a second body to where the CO.sub.2 coolant properties may be leveraged. The second body includes, by way of example, a plate, a cushion, a spot treatment pad for a person's muscle, or a cooler.

The temperature is controlled by a metering CO.sub.2 releasing system encompassing an electronic control device which sends alerts when pre-defined thresholds are exceeded.

The invention's metering CO.sub.2 releasing system may be triggered by an electronic or a thermostatic valve or may be triggered manually or by an electronic solenoid.

REFRIGERATION MANAGER TOOL FOR MONITORING AND CONTROLLING DISPARATE REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS AT AN INSTALLATION SITE

A refrigeration manager that can be used to monitor and control disparate refrigeration systems at a site, even when the refrigeration systems are manufactured by different vendors. The refrigeration manager provides common views for the disparate refrigeration systems, which may help a technician more easily monitor and control the various refrigeration systems at a site.

Cold storage assembly

A cold storage assembly for maintaining a temperature of an item includes a shell that defines an interior space. The shell comprises membranous polymer so that the shell is flexible. The shell has a top that is open. A lid is pivotally coupled to a back of the shell adjacent to the top. The shell is configured to insert items into the interior space and the lid is positioned to selectively close the top. A plurality of panels is selectively couplable to an inner surface of the shell. The panels extend between a front and a back of the shell and define a plurality of compartments. The panels are configured to separate the items. A cooling unit that comprises an evaporator and a condenser is coupled to the shell. The cooling unit is positioned to cool the interior space and the items that are positioned therein.

Devices for cooling beverages

Devices for cooling beverages in cooperation with a compressed gas cartridge. The devices include a housing, a head, a working fluid, and a release mechanism. The housing defines a chamber complementarily configured with the compressed gas cartridge to receive the compressed gas cartridge. The head couples to the housing and defines an interior void in fluid communication with the chamber. The working fluid is contained with the interior void of the head. The release mechanism is operably connected to the housing and configured to selectively release compressed gas from the compressed gas cartridge into the interior void of the head. The compressed gas cools the working fluid when the compressed gas is selectively released from the compressed gas cartridge and contacts the working fluid in the interior void. The head is configured to be placed in a beverage to cool the beverage.

The invention relates to a smart thermal insulation box, including thermally insulated layers with mitered edges forming a thermally insulated space, and said space surrounded by cardboard material. The box has externally viewable and operable temperature and humidity sensors, where the sensors are preferably fixed inside the box to one side. The temperature monitoring system monitors temperature of the insulated space and facilitates delivery of refrigerant into it through a refrigerant delivery system when the temperature of insulated space exceeds a set value. One of the cardboard panels forming the top of the box which overlays the insulation layer has a window configured to overlay the display panel. An audible alert system may also be included to alert users to temperature or humidity excursions.

PORTABLE DRINK HOLDER

A portable drink holder for a drinkable liquid having a first removable reservoir for storing the liquid at a first end of the holder, a second removable reservoir at a second end of the holder for receiving the liquid and a cooling cartridge having a plurality of passageways for selectively transporting liquid from the first reservoir to the second reservoir. The cooling cartridge including a cooling medium so that the liquid transitions to a second temperature lower than the first temperature as it flows from the first reservoir to the second reservoir.
