REFRIGERATOR
20180292119 · 2018-10-11 ·

A refrigerator includes a main body defining a storage space, a cryogenic freezing compartment having an insulation space that is independent with respect to the storage space, an evaporator disposed inside the storage space to cool the storage space, and a thermoelectric module assembly disposed at one side of the cryogenic freezing compartment so that the cryogenic freezing compartment is cooled to a temperature less than that of the storage space. The thermoelectric module assembly includes a thermoelectric module, a cold sink coming into contact with a heat absorption surface of the thermoelectric module and disposed in the cryogenic freezing compartment, and a heat sink coming into contact with a heat generation surface of the thermoelectric module. The heat sink is cooled by introducing a refrigerant supplied to the evaporator.

The current invention is a current invention is a self-cooling cooler that combines a miniaturized version of absorption refrigeration with a container such as a traditional ice chest/cooler. The cooling system created by the combination of an absorption refrigeration system with the ice chest/cooler. The boiler in the present invention's absorption refrigeration is fired by a vaporizer, powered by a rechargeable battery. The refrigeration system is connected to the body of the cooler using connection means such as screws. The refrigeration system keep the inside of the cooler cool.

SORPTION SYSTEM IN A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

A transport refrigeration system (TRS) and method of operating a TRS having a sorption subsystem are disclosed. The TRS includes a refrigeration subsystem and a sorption subsystem. The refrigeration subsystem includes a refrigerant, a compressor, a refrigerant condenser, a refrigerant expansion device, and a refrigerant evaporator in fluid communication such that the refrigerant can flow therethrough. The sorption subsystem includes a heat transfer fluid, a heat source, a boiler, a sorption condenser, a sorption expansion valve, a sorption evaporator, and a pump in fluid communication such that the heat transfer fluid can flow therethrough. The sorption evaporator is in thermal communication with the refrigeration subsystem.
