REFRIGERATOR
A method to control a refrigerator includes changing a transparent display assembly to be in a first or transparent state allowing an inner space of the refrigerator to be visible through the transparent assembly, a second or opaque state so as to conceal the inner space, and a third or a display state to display information on a display of the transparent assembly. The transparent display assembly includes a front panel, a rear panel, an outer spacer configured to maintain a first distance between the front panel and the rear panel, a display provided on a rear surface of the front panel, a light guide plate spaced apart from the display, and a first spacer configured to support the light guide plate and to maintain a second distance between the display and the light guide plate.
Wine cooler with reversible door
The present disclosure relates to a household appliance (20) comprising a reversible front door (22) configured to be selectably attached either on a left side or a right side of a cabinet (21) of the household appliance (20). The household appliance (20) further comprises a profile (23) configured to act as a handle being arranged on a top side of the front door (22), a detachable hinge (27) arranged to be mounted to the cabinet (21) behind the front door (22) and further being configured to extend into a cavity (21) of the front door (22) arranged below the profile (23) to connect the front door (22) to the cabinet (21), and a locking pin (29), wherein the profile (23) comprises a through hole (28) at at least one of its two ends for receiving the locking pin (29) configured to be inserted into the through hole (28) from an upper side of the profile (23), which locking pin (29) engages with a cavity (30) of the hinge (27) arranged under the profile (23) to pivotably attach the front door (22) to the hinge (27).
DISPLAY CASE DOOR WITH TOUCH SCREEN
In one general aspect, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in a display case door that includes a panel assembly, a door frame, an electronic display, and a touchscreen. The door frame extends about and secured to a peripheral edge of the panel assembly. The electronic display overlays the panel assembly and is secured to the door frame. The touch screen overlaps a first portion of the electronic display, and the display includes a second portion which is not overlapped by the touchscreen.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage space, a door configured to open and close the storage space, and a gap adjusting device configured to be provided between the cabinet and the door and to adjust a gap between the cabinet and the door, in which the gap adjusting device includes a seating part formed on the door, and an adjusting member which is detachably mounted on the seating part and is in contact with the cabinet in a state where the door is closed, a plurality of adjusting parts having different heights are formed on the adjusting member, and a gap between the cabinet and the door is adjusted according to a combination of a contact surface between the seating part and the adjusting part selected when the adjusting member is mounted.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet provided with a storage compartment, a door capable of opening and closing the storage compartment, a turning plate and a hinge assembly including a hinge moving member and a hinge fixed member connecting the door to the turning plate. One of the hinge moving member or the hinge fixed member defines a trajectory having a first end portion and a second end portion. The other of the hinge moving member or the hinge fixed member has a limiting portion adapted to rotate between the first end portion and the second end portion along the trajectory.
Ice making system for a refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance includes walls, a door, an ice container, a magnet, and a sensor. The walls define an internal storage chamber. The door has an outer panel and a door liner disposed between the outer panel and the internal storage chamber. The door liner defines a receptacle. The ice container is removably positioned within the receptacle. The magnet is secured to the ice container. The sensor is disposed between the outer panel and the door liner. The sensor is configured to align with and detect a presence of the magnet through the door liner and to detect an absence of the magnet. The presence of the magnet is indicative that the ice container is positioned within the receptacle. The absence of the magnet is indicative that the ice container is not positioned within the receptacle.
PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR A HOME APPLIANCE AND HOME APPLIANCE THEREWITH
A home appliance, e.g. a refrigerator, includes a cabinet forming a space and a door for opening and closing the space, the door including a door body with an insulator filled therein, and a panel assembly mounted in front of the door body, wherein the panel assembly includes a lighting device configured to emit light, a panel forming a front surface of the door and configured to transmit light therethrough, a light guide plate disposed behind the panel and configured to guide light emitted from the lighting device to the panel, and a member disposed between the panel and the light guide plate, including the panel and the light guide plate mounted thereon, and configured to transmit light of the light guide plate through an entire part of the panel.
REFRIGERATOR AND HOME APPLIANCE
Provided is a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a cabinet and a door. The door includes a door body in which an insulating material is filled and a panel assembly detachably mounted on the door body. The panel assembly includes a panel which is configured to define a front surface of the door and through which light is transmitted, a back cover configured to define a rear surface of the panel assembly, a lower bracket configured to define a bottom surface of the panel assembly, and a lighting device mounted on the lower bracket to emit light to the panel. A bracket opening through which the lighting device is accessible is defined in the lower bracket.
REFRIGERATOR AND HOME APPLIANCE
