APPLIANCE TRIM BREAKER
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet having an inner liner spaced apart from an outer wrapper and a trim breaker extending between the inner liner and the outer wrapper to define an insulating cavity therebetween. The trim breaker includes first and second opposing vertical portions, a top portion, a bottom portion, and a central portion. The top portion is integrally formed with each vertical portion at a respective upper corner, and the bottom portion is integrally formed with each vertical portion at a respective lower corner. A first plurality of ribs extends from an outer rim of the trim breaker and at least partially along the central portion, and a second plurality of ribs extends from the outer rim of at least one of the first and second vertical portions and across at least one of the upper and lower corners.
Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
A vacuum adiabatic body includes: a first plate, a second plate, a sealing part sealing the first plate and the second plate to provide a third space, a supporting unit maintaining the third space, and a heat resistance unit for decreasing a heat transfer amount between the first plate and the second plate. The second plate may include a front part and a side part having a different extending direction from the front part, and the side part defines at least one portion of a wall for the third space.
Trim breaker for an insulated appliance
A trim breaker for sealing an outer wrapper of an appliance with an inner liner to form an insulation space therebetween is provided. The trim breaker includes a body including a rear wall, a first leg extending from the rear wall, and a second leg extending from the rear wall. The trim breaker also includes a front wall coupled with the body opposite the rear wall, wherein the front wall includes a channel extending inward toward the rear wall, and a chamber defined at least in part between the front wall and the rear wall.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH ARTICULATING HORIZONTAL MULLION
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet. A fresh food chamber and a freezer chamber are defined in the cabinet. The fresh food chamber and the freezer chamber are mutually separated by a mullion. The refrigerator appliance also includes an articulating lip coupled to the mullion. The articulating lip is movable relative to the mullion between a sealing position and an open position.
Heat insulating structure for cooling device, and cooling device
The invention is provided with a housing which has an inner space open in a first direction, a partition body which divides the inlet of the inner space into a plurality of openings arranged next to each other in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a door which is provided to each of the openings and which closes the opening from the first direction side, a first vacuum heat insulating material which is disposed inside the partition body, and a second vacuum heat insulating material which is disposed inside the door. The first vacuum heat insulating material and the second vacuum heat insulating material are arranged so as to overlap each other when viewed from the first direction side or from the second direction side.
Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
A vacuum adiabatic body according to the present invention includes a reinforcing member which is provided at a peripheral portion of at least one plate member so as to reinforce the strength of the plate member providing the vacuum adiabatic body; and a drain pipe which penetrates a third space except for the reinforcing member and through which water passes. According to the present invention, the strength of the vacuum adiabatic body increases and a penetration path of the defrost water can be secured.
Door assembly for use on a utility truck
A multi-sheet component for a utility vehicle that includes at least one gap between at least two of the sheets, thereby providing a component that enhances worker safety by increasing component stiffness and reducing component thickness. The component is manufactured through multi-sheet thermoforming and uses a conical frustum corrugation to increase stiffness.
APPLIANCE DOOR GASKET ASSEMBLY
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet defining a compartment. A door is hingedly coupled with the cabinet and is configured to selectively seal the compartment. The door includes a door trim breaker. An engagement member extends from the door trim breaker. A first retention ridge extends from a first side of the engagement member, and a second retention ridge extends from a second side of the engagement member. The first retention ridge is offset from the second retention ridge. A gasket is configured to fit over the engagement member and includes a coupling portion defining first and second retention spaces. The first retention space is configured to receive the first retention ridge, and the second retention space is configured to receive the second retention ridge. A contact portion is integrally formed with the coupling portion and is configured to at least partially abut the cabinet when the door is closed.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage space and a door configured to open and close the storage space. The door includes comprises: a panel assembly comprising a front panel, a door frame connected to the panel assembly, a door liner defining, with the door frame, an insulating space that accommodates an insulator, and a basket installed on the door liner. The door liner includes: an outer body, a liner extension portion extending from the outer body in a direction crossing the outer body, and a plurality of ribs that are disposed at the outer body and that are spaced apart from the liner extension portion. The door frame comprises a frame extension portion that is disposed between the plurality of ribs and the liner extension portion.
Extruded plastic front frame profiles for cooling appliances
A refrigerator front frame for a refrigerator appliance, includes: four extruded plastic profiles; four corner connecting pieces configured to join the four extruded plastic profiles to form the refrigerator front frame, wherein a co-extruded, thin metal strip is embedded within a wall of each of the four extruded plastic profiles so as to be near an outer surface of a corresponding extruded plastic profile as compared to an overall wall thickness of the corresponding extruded plastic profile.
