REFRIGERATOR SHELF ASSEMBLY ALLOWING PARTIAL REPOSITIONING OF SHELF UNITS
The present invention relates to a household appliance and more particularly a refrigeration appliance having a shelf which is sectionally arranged to provide a space-increasing shelf assembly. The present invention more specifically relates to a refrigeration appliance having a sectionally organized shelf assembly (1) in a refrigeration cabin thereof, the shelf assembly (1) comprising a front and a rear shelf units (2, 3) respectively neighboring in the depthwise direction of the refrigeration cabin, the front and rear shelf units (2, 3) being displaceable relative to a pair of brackets to which they are attachable.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a rear shelf that is located in a case that defines a storage compartment with an open front. The refrigerator further includes a front shelf that is located closer to the open front of the storage compartment than the rear shelf. The refrigerator further includes a guard that is rotatably connected to the front shelf. The refrigerator further includes a front shelf lifting device that is configured to rotate the front shelf down about an axis at the rear shelf based on the guard moving up.
REFRIGERATOR
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a refrigerator includes: a cabinet forming a storage space; a first door rotatably coupled to a front surface of the cabinet to open or close the storage space, and having an open portion formed therein; a second door rotatably connected to the first door at a front surface of the first door; a shelf rotatably mounted in the open portion; and a connection module provided in the first door and connected to a rotary shaft of the shelf to enable the shelf to be unfolded forward when the second door is opened and to stand to be folded when the second door is closed.
Spiral chiller apparatus and method of chilling
A spiral chiller and a method of chilling a food product in a spiral chiller using a cooling medium wherein (a) the food product is conveyed within the chiller by a spiral conveyor having a plurality of spiral flutes and (b) the cooling medium is discharged either upwardly and/or downwardly within, and/or laterally into, one or more vertical gaps between adjacent pairs of spiral flutes using one or more delivery duct structures which extend inside the interior of the product chilling chamber.
Storage Assembly for an Appliance
A storage assembly for an appliance includes a shaft mounted to the bracket. A hinge is slidably mounted to the shaft, and a container is mounted to the hinge such that the container is movable relative to the shaft on the hinge. The container has a projection that is receivable within each opening of a series of openings of the shaft. A related refrigerator appliance is also provided.
SMART REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
A smart refrigeration system includes at least one rotatable shelf having at least one storage compartment, the at least one storage compartment having an identification unit for identifying an item in the at least one storage compartment, where the smart refrigeration system is configured to track at least one of weight and freshness information of the item. The identification unit is configured to capture an image of the item or scan a barcode of the item. The smart refrigeration system further includes a reminder unit notifying a user to restock the item. The smart refrigeration system further includes a temperature control unit configured to adjust the temperature of the at least one storage compartment independently from other storage compartments in the smart refrigeration system.
ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE STORAGE AND DISPENSING SYSTEM
A storage and dispensing system for storing and dispensing temperature sensitive items is provided. The system includes a storage chamber, a dispensing chamber, an electro-mechanical module, and a cooling system. The storage chamber has walls defining plural compartments formed integrally therein for storing the temperature sensitive items at an ultra-low temperature. Each compartment is formed as a cylindrical sector with an inclined bottom surface. The plural compartments are arranged circumferentially around a vertical axis and stacked together in one or more rows, thereby an individual temperature sensitive item is slidable out of a respective compartment to the dispensing chamber by gravitational force. The electro-mechanical module is configured to rotate the storage chamber about the vertical axis. The storage chamber does not include any mechanical or electrical components inside, which avoids the need for devices that can tolerate an extremely low temperature environment.
Storage shelf base and item of furniture or household appliance
A storage shelf base for an item of furniture or household appliance includes a support plate stationarily arranged on a body of the item of furniture or household appliance, and a storage shelf positively driven relative to the support plate and can simultaneously be moved rotationally and translationally. Facing bearing surfaces of the support plate and the storage shelf have respective at least substantially closed circulating running grooves, in which rolling elements are guided. The support plate can be detachably secured to the body of the item of furniture or household appliance by an adapter or a base plate is stationarily arranged on the body of the item of furniture or household appliance, on which the support plate is detachably secured.
Refrigerated Storage System
A refrigerated storage system for incorporating rotatable shelves into a refrigerator includes a refrigerator that has a door. A first shelving unit is rotatably positioned within the refrigerator to support food items. The first shelving unit is selectively rotated to facilitate selected food items to be retrieved from the refrigerator. A second shelving unit is coupled to the door to support food items. The second shelving unit is movably positioned at a selected point along the door.
SHELF ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE
A shelf assembly for an appliance includes a shelf support operably coupled with a cabinet liner. First and second supports are positioned below the shelf support. The first and second supports are positioned on opposing sidewalls of the cabinet liner. A rear shelf portion is slidably supported on the shelf support between rearward and forward positions. A front shelf portion is positioned adjacent to the rear shelf portion and is movable between a raised position and a lowered position. A plurality of rotatable arms are configured to support the front shelf portion. Each rotatable arm of the plurality of rotatable arms is operably coupled with one of the first and second supports at a first end and is further operably coupled with the front shelf portion at a second end. A connecting arm interconnects the rear shelf portion and the front shelf portion.
