Under-shelf storage bin for a refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance includes a chilled chamber and a shelf positioned within the chilled chamber. The shelf is supported by lateral mounting bracket that define support features for an under-shelf storage bin. The support features include mounting pins and/or guide ribs that are configured to engage complementary rollers or hooking protrusions defined on the lateral sides of the storage bin. The support features permit a user to pull the storage bin away from the shelf along a transverse direction and/or pivot the shelf downward along the vertical direction.
Refrigerator and shelving system for a refrigerator
A refrigerator shelving system includes a first shelf, a first set of suspenders, a second set of suspenders, and a second shelf. The second shelf is rotatably secured to the second set of suspenders and slidably secured to the second set of suspenders. The second set of suspenders is rotatably secured to the first shelf. A back end of the second shelf is configured to rotate relative to the first set of suspenders, the second set of suspenders is configured to rotate relative to the first shelf, and a front end of the second shelf is configured to slide relative to the second set of suspenders during rotation of the second set of suspenders in order to transition the second shelf between an operational position and a stowed position.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator having a first storage compartment with a first storage space and a movable shelf assembly disposed in the first storage space, wherein the movable shelf assembly includes a movable shelf movably disposed in the first storage space, a plurality of links, one end of each of the links being pivotably coupled to each of both sides of the movable shelf, and a driver coupled to the other end of each of the links such that each link pivots, wherein the driver is configured to move each link forwardly and outwardly of the first storage space and, at the same time, to pivot each link.
Refrigerator and method for controlling the same
A refrigerator includes: a cabinet in which a storage compartment is formed; a refrigerator door for opening and closing the storage compartment; a rack which can move from an initial position to a door opening position to open the refrigerator door; a driving motor which generates a driving force to move the rack; a power transmission unit which transmits power of the driving motor to the rack; a rotation detection unit which detects a rotation number of the driving motor; and a controller that controls the driving motor based on information on the rotation number detected by the rotation detection unit, in which the controller may control the driving motor to a first state until the rack moves from the door opening position to a reference position and may control the driving motor to a second state until the rack moves from the reference position to the initial position.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include a shelf provided on a door and a shelf guard provided to be movable in front of the shelf so that a user can easily take out food.
Refrigerator including multiple storage compartments
A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a first storage compartment; a first door that is opened or closed to allow or prevent access to an interior of the first storage compartment; a storing device coupled to the first door to define a second storage compartment, wherein, when the first door is closed, the second storage compartment is disposed in the first storage compartment; and a second door connected to the first door and configured to be opened or closed to allow or prevent access to an interior of the second storage compartment, wherein the interior of the second storage compartment is accessible when the first door is closed and the second door is opened, wherein the first door includes a plurality of first coupling parts to which the storing device is coupled, wherein the storing device includes: a frame; and a basket installed on the frame, wherein each of the frame and the basket includes at least one second coupling part interacting with at least one of the plurality of first coupling parts, wherein a front surface of the second door is positioned to be generally coplanar with at least a portion of a front surface of the first door.
Storage device and refrigerator having the same
The present invention provides a storage device for a refrigerator, including: a plurality of boxes, a rotating shaft and a plurality of damping masses, so that the boxes can stay stationary at any rotation position at any time when are rotated around the rotating shaft, which ensures smooth rotation of the boxes during the opening and closing thereof, and thus facilitates the user to pick and place eggs and improves the stability of the fragile eggs within the rotating boxes.
Household appliance, in particular a refrigerator or a freezer or a furniture item comprising at least one shelf
A household appliance, in particular a refrigerator or a freezer or a furniture item comprising at least one storage space, in which a support plate is positioned comprising a storage area and a shelf which can be rotationally and translationally moved on the storage area of the support plate, wherein: the shelf comprises a flat storage area which is oriented plane-parallel to the storage area of the support element; the shelf can be rotated relative to the support plate in a first rotational direction and can be displaced in a predefined direction; mutually facing bearing surfaces of the storage areas each have closed peripheral raceway grooves in which rolling elements are guided; the raceway grooves are formed such that, when a force is applied to the shelf in a direction defined in the plane of the storage area, the shelf can be moved, in a movement which is at least partially forcibly guided and which is simultaneously rotational and translational, from a base position into an intermediary position, the shelf being rotated relative to the support plate in one of two possible opposing rotational directions and being displaced in a predefined direction; and the shelf, after being moved into the intermediary position, can be further rotated relative to the support plate in the one of two possible opposing rotational directions and can be displaced counter to the predefined direction and, when rotated by 180°, resumes the base position.
