Temperature-regulating containment system
09995529 · 2018-06-12 · ·

Disclosed herein are embodiments of a temperature-regulating containment system for actively heating or cooling a liquid to a desired liquid temperature, the temperature-regulating containment system comprising: a container having an internal cavity defined by a sidewall upwardly extending from a bottom wall; a heating element disposed beneath the bottom wall; a chamber disposed beneath the bottom wall, the chamber adjustable between an unfilled condition and a filled condition in which the chamber is filled with a heat transfer medium; and a cooling element disposed beneath the chamber. When the liquid temperature is below the desired liquid temperature: the chamber adjusts to the unfilled condition, and the heating element provides heat to the bottom wall. When the liquid temperature is above the desired liquid temperature: the chamber adjusts to the filled condition, and the cooling element removes heat from the bottom wall.

A cooling and heating cup holder may include an inner body accommodating a drink container, a heat exchanger including an inlet formed therein while discharging air introduced by the inlet into the inner body through a blower hole, heat exchanging pins provided in the heat exchanger, a thermoelectric element having a first side entirely adhered to a rear surface of the heat exchanger, a heat radiator coupled to a second side of the thermoelectric element, an outer body forming a circulating space between the inner body and the outer body, and a blower fan transferring air to the inlet of the heat exchanger.

CHILLED BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A beverage dispensing machine (e.g., coffee maker) has a cooling unit. The cooling unit includes a thermal mass. The cooling unit is operable to reduce a temperature of at least a portion of the thermal mass. The cooling unit also includes a passageway within which a beverage flows, the passageway being in thermal communication with the thermal mass that cools the beverage as it flows within the passageway to chill the beverage before it is dispensed.

A refrigeration system includes a refrigerator that may contain a beverage. The refrigerator includes a cooling unit and a plurality of fans. A rotating unit is positioned within the refrigerator. The rotating unit supports the beverage thereby facilitating the rotating unit to rotate the beverage. A control is coupled to the refrigerator and the control is in communication with the cooling unit and each of the fans. The control controls operational parameters of the cooling unit and the fans. A distribution unit is positioned within the refrigerator and the distribution unit may be submerged in the beverage. The distribution unit is selectively placed in fluid communication with the cooling unit. Thus, the distribution unit is configured to direct refrigerated air into the beverage thereby facilitating the beverage to be cooled.

DRINKWARE CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL

An actively heated drinkware container includes a vessel with a chamber that receives and holds a volume of liquid. The drinkware container includes a heating module with a first heating element operable to heat one portion of the chamber and a second heating element operable to heat another portion of the chamber, the second heating element spaced from the first heating element. Operation of the first and second heating elements generates a circulation current in the volume of liquid in the chamber that mixes the liquid and diffuses a temperature of the liquid to thereby reduce temperature stratification of the liquid in the chamber and so that a temperature of the liquid throughout the volume of liquid in the chamber is approximately uniform.

Plastic cup dispensing cooler and method of use

A plastic cup dispensing cooler is described. Embodiments of the present invention include a cooler adapted to store and chill a plurality of plastic cups. The cooler can include a pair of spring-loaded cup dispensers with the dispensing end of the cup dispensers located on a top surface of the cooler. Typically, the spring-loaded cup dispensers can be located substantially within the cooler. To cool the plastic cups, the cooler can be filled with an ice and water mixture. The ice and water mixture can be implemented to chill the plastic cups to a temperature ranging from 34 F. to 40 F. Chilling the plastic cups can be implemented to limit waste created by foam formed from pouring a cold beverage into a substantially warmer cup.

CONTAINER ACCOMMODATION APPARATUS

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a beverage keeping apparatus capable of cooling and warming, and a container accommodation apparatus that includes an accommodation unit including a container accommodation member configured to accommodate a container therein and a thermoelectric module which is disposed at an external surface of the container accommodation member and applies thermal conversion effect, an extension unit which is coupled to a lower portion of the accommodation unit, extends from an inside to an outside of a case member, and fixes and supports the accommodation unit, and a housing unit which includes a circulation control module which performs control of the thermoelectric module from an outside thereof.

Device for cooling or frosting a container

The invention relates to a device (1) for cooling or frosting at least one container (2), in particular a glass or mug, by means of cold air, the device (1) comprising a base (4) with a container receiving portion (3), at least one air inlet (5) and an annular chamber (7), whereby the container receiving portion (3) is comprised with the at least one air inlet (5) through which cold air may be introduced into the annular chamber (7), wherein the container receiving portion (3) comprises an air outlet portion (10) comprising a pipe (9) extending upwards into the at least one container (2), the pipe (9) being configured to suck the air out of the at least one container (2). The at least one air inlet (5) is positioned at an outer circumference of the annular chamber (7) so as to introduce the air into the annular chamber (7) tangentially, thereby generating a swirling upward air flow which is led as a thin layer along the inner surface of the at least one container (2) being placed on the container receiving portion (3), thereby cooling or frosting the container (2).
