A system for holding multiple beverage containers may include a cooler or carrier with toting handles, closing tabs, and base. The base may be formed from a molded plastic, rubber, nylon, or synthetic rubber material. The base may also include feet that hold the base a sufficient height from the ground. The base may have a drain hole located in the base. Extending up from the base may be a multi-layer soft-sided wall where different layers perform different desired functions. For example, an inside layer closest to the internal cavity may be a waterproof layer, a middle layer may be an insulating layer, and an external layer may be a decorative layer. Within the cooler or carrier may be one or more silos with a mating plug within the silo. The silo may be generally cylindrical in shape and configured to accept a beverage container in a manner that allow a beverage within the container to be accessed from outside the cooler.

By combining a highly insulated outer container with an inner container designed for efficient cooling, this invention prevents labels from peeling off and enhances the overall beverage experience. Embodiments of ice luge apparatuses and methods for making cascading ice luges are disclosed. Apparatuses embodying the principles of the invention feature shelves in a stepwise configuration and alternative configurations. The shelves are positioned by supporting structures. Ice blocks can be frozen in trays such that pre-formed lanes are formed in the ice blocks. The trays can be of convenient size that can be placed in a conventional household freezer. Ice blocks can be arranged and oriented so that a liquid or beverage placed on the uppermost ice block will flow in the preformed lanes in a cascading manner thereby rapidly cooling the beverage with minimal dilution.

A cooler for maintaining food, beverage containers and/or consumable liquids in a thermally managed state. The cooler generally includes a housing having one or more cavities, a cover to selectively close or open the cavities and a plurality of tie down notches within the exterior portion of the housing to receive an elongated fastener for tying down the cooler. The cooler may include a first cavity that receives a food container and a second cavity that receives beverage containers. The first cavity may also store a liquid, such as water, that is dispensed from a spigot connected to the housing. A first cover and a second cover selectively close and open the cavities. The first cover includes a first access opening that removably receives the food container so the first cover doesn't have to be opened to retrieve the food container and its contents.

A portable insulated storage container includes an insulated body, an insulated lid, and a retainer. The insulated body has an internal cavity for storing one or more items. The internal cavity is selectively and reversibly configurable into two or more storage areas. The insulated lid engages the insulated body to close the internal cavity. The insulated lid includes receptacles each configured for receiving a cold pack or other thermal device. Each of the receptacles aligns with a respective one of the storage areas when the insulated lid engages the body. The retainer removably retains the cold pack in one of the receptacles.

A beverage chilling canister with the beverage container that is being chilled in the canister remaining in the canister when the beverage is poured from the beverage container, thereby avoiding ice displacement when the beverage container is otherwise removed from the canister to pour the beverage and moisture on the outside surface of the beverage container from dripping when the beverage container is otherwise removed from the canister to pour the beverage.
