ICE CHEST PROVIDING RECYCLED POTABLE WATER
20170023289 · 2017-01-26 ·

An ice chest includes a main body and a hinged lid. The main body includes a first internal compartment, second internal compartment and third internal compartment. The first and second internal compartments are separated from one another by a barrier that is capable of thermal transfer, but prohibits liquid transfer. The third internal compartment is positioned directly below the first and second internal compartments and positioned above the bottom of the main body. The third internal compartment is also capable of retaining liquid received through the first internal compartment. A porous barrier is positioned between the first and third internal compartments and filters liquid flowing from the first to the third internal compartment. The main body also includes a filtered spout capable of providing a second filtering mechanism and a release mechanism for liquid being retained in the third internal compartment.

Portable Cooler Shelf Assembly

A portable cooler shelf assembly for a cooler is provided. The cooler holds ice, food items, and beverages. The portable cooler shelf assembly comprises an underlying frame having a first side rail, a second side rail, a first end rail, a second end rail, a top surface, and a bottom surface. A top shelf is mounted to the top surface of the underlying frame. A plurality of legs are secured to the bottom surface of the underlying frame. The combined underlying frame, top shelf, and legs are capable of being received within the cooler and the food items and the beverages positionable on the top shelf are elevated above and away from the ice while still ensuring the provisions remain cool and fresh.

System to hold multiple beverage containers

A system for holding multiple beverage containers may include a cooler or carrier with toting handles, closing tabs, and base. The base may be formed from a molded plastic, rubber or synthetic rubber material. The base may also include feet that hold the base a sufficient height from the ground. The base may have a generally conic tapering drain floor that makes up its top surface. The tapering drain floor may make draining the carrier easier by directing water toward a drain hole located in the base. Extending up from the base may be a multi-layer soft-sided wall where different layers perform different desired functions. For example, an inside layer closest to the internal cavity may be a waterproof layer, a middle layer may be an insulating layer, and an external layer may be a decorative layer.

ICE BUCKET

The invention relates to an ice bucket (1) comprising: a base (2) for resting on a surface; a central body (3); a plurality of tanks (4), associable with said central body (3), adapted to contain ice and bottles to be refrigerated; means for the rotatable connection between said central body (3) and said base (2) to allow the rotation of said tanks (4) and selectively make said bottles available to a plurality of users.

Cascading ice luge, apparatus, and methods
09546813 · 2017-01-17 ·

Embodiments of cascading ice luges and embodiments of apparatuses and methods for making cascading ice luges are disclosed. One apparatus embodying the principles of the invention features shelves and attached brackets in stepwise configuration. The shelves are affixed to a scaffold. Ice blocks can be frozen in trays such that pre-formed lanes are formed in the ice blocks. The trays can be of convenient size that can be placed in a conventional household freezer. Ice blocks can be arranged on the shelves in stepwise figuration and oriented so that a liquid or beverage placed on the uppermost ice block will flow in the pre-formed lanes in a cascading manner thereby rapidly cooling the beverage with minimal dilution.

MODULAR RETROFIT QUENCH UNIT

The disclosure features various embodiments and aspects of a chest for quenching beverages. The chest can include a tank for holding a chilled mixture of ice and water, an ice maker adapted for making ice having an output for ejecting ice into a conduit in fluid communication with the tank, and a plurality of quench trays disposed above the tank for holding containers of beverages located in first and second positions. The trays can be filled with cold water by way of a conduit in fluid communication with the tank. The quench trays can include a compartment defined by a bottom and a plurality of walls, and defining therein a plurality of rows for aligning and containing a plurality of beverage containers. The drawers can further include at least one drain orifice configured to guide water out of the quench tray.

Cooling tray

A cooling tray includes a container, springs placed within the container to exerting a vertical thrust, a platform residing within the container and coupled to each spring, and a bowl for residing above the container. When ice is placed on the platform, the plurality of springs are each compressed such that the cooling material contacts an undersurface of the bowl. As the ice melts, the water flows below the platform, and the springs decompress and maintain the remaining ice in contact with the undersurface of the bowl. In this manner, food that requires refrigeration may be served from the portable cooling tray at the appropriate temperature. A formed ice block may be used to impart greater and more efficient cooling as a greater surface area of the ice contacts the undersurface of the bowl. The bowl may be of aluminum to further increase the efficiency.
