RECYCLABLE, THERMALLY INSULATED SHIPPING CONTAINER WITH PACKED, LOOSE-FILL ORGANIC INSULATION AND PCM BLADDER INSERT
A recyclable, thermally insulated shipping container is entirely constructed from organic fiber materials in such a manner that the container is curbside recyclable without separation of component materials. The container includes a corrugated cardboard outer box having a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls and a top wall, a corrugated cardboard inner liner assembly comprising a corrugated cardboard inner box having a bottom wall and a plurality of sidewalls, and a corrugated cardboard lid assembly. The outer box, inner liner assembly and lid assembly cooperate to create a plurality of thermally insulated cavities which are filled and uniformly packed with predetermined volumes of loose-fill cellulose (organic fiber) insulation to create a predetermined insulating value. The container provides a fully insulated six-sided product cavity to receive a temperature-controlled product. A portion of the product cavity may be filled with a PCM or other thermal media to provide a consistent temperature profile.

The present application generally relates to devices and methods for transporting, delivering, and storing items, and it more specifically relates to insulated carriers for use in transporting, delivering, and storing temperature controlled items such as perishable food and beverage items. Embodiments provide for insulated containers having an interior cavity surrounded by one or more panels having insulation wherein the containers are collapsible to allow for the efficient storage and transport of the containers while empty.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING COOLING TO AN INTERIOR OF A CONTAINER
Described herein is a method of providing cooling to a storage container. The method including the steps of providing a feed of a liquid and at least one pack; cooling the feed to a slurry temperature to provide a slurry feed; dividing at least one slurry portion from the slurry feed to provide at least one refrigerant portion; housing at least one refrigerant portion in a corresponding pack to provide the at least one refrigeration pack; and, enclosing the at least one refrigeration pack within the storage container to cool an interior space of the storage container.

MINI FREEZER-EQUIPPED DRONE FOR TRANSPORTING BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
According to some embodiments, a freezer-equipped drone for transporting biological materials and method of using same is provided. In some embodiments, a freezer-equipped drone comprises a temperature control device for transporting biological materials, such as, but not limited to, vaccines, blood samples, urine samples, saliva samples, nasal samples, bodily fluids, tissue samples, and the like. For example, a freezer-equipped drone can comprise a drone equipped with a mini freezer for holding biological materials that may be activated to some desired temperature using active cooling mechanisms at the same time of aerial transport.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BAG WITH COOLING ELEMENT
A cooling bag according to various aspects of the present technology comprises a main body configured to form an interior receiving section. The main body may comprise front and rear panels and a bottom panel extending between the front and rear panels. At least one of the front, rear or bottom panels comprises a multi-layer structure comprising an external fabric layer; an interior liner; and a plurality of intermediate insulating layers disposed between the external fabric layer and the interior liner. The multi-layer structure may further comprise at least one air gap disposed between at least one intermediate insulating layer. A cooling sleeve may be disposed within the interior receiving section. The cooling sleeve may divide the interior receiving section into a front receiving section and a back receiving section. The cooling sleeve may be configured to receive a cooling element.
SHIPPING SYSTEM FOR STORING AND/OR TRANSPORTING TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE MATERIALS
Shipping system for storing and/or transporting temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the system includes an outer box having four side walls, bottom closure flaps, and top closure flaps. A vacuum insulated panel (VIP) is detachably coupled to one of the top closure flaps and is removably covered by a cover. An insulation unit is removably positioned within the outer box, the insulation unit including a plurality of VIPs arranged to define a cavity bounded by a bottom wall and four side walls. A disposable liner is removably mounted on the insulation unit. The liner may be a thermoformed sheet and may cover the interior and top surfaces of the insulation unit. A plurality of temperature-control members and a product box may be removably positioned in the liner. Preferably, the liner is shaped so that the temperature-control members snugly fit around all sides of the product box.

The present application discloses a temperature control plate and a Measurement method for the temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation. The temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation comprises a phase-change gel, a vacuum-sealing bag, a sealed plastic box, and an RFID passive temperature sensor tag. The phase-change gel is filled in the vacuum-sealing bag, and a supporting frame is embedded in the phase-change gel. The RFID passive temperature sensor tag is embedded in the phase-change gel. The vacuum-sealing bag is packed in the sealed plastic box, and the sealed plastic box is externally labeled with a tag identifier. The vacuum-sealing bag is a PET vacuum-sealing bag, and the sealed plastic box is a PET sealed plastic box. The Measurement method for the temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation is to detect the temperature of the temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation using a wrist-watch type Bluetooth reader, and the wrist-watch type Bluetooth reader transmits the temperature data to a data terminal. The present application solves the technical problems that the internal temperature of a temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation cannot be measured accurately, and achieves quick and effective measurement of the temperature of a phase-change material inside the temperature control plate for cold-chain transportation.

Transport container 1 for temperature-controlled transport of temperature-sensitive goods, comprising a container wall 2 which, in a closed state, completely encloses an interior space 3, the container wall 2 comprising three side wall elements 21a, 21b, 21c, a top element 22, a base element 23 and a door element 24, which door element 24 can be arranged on the transport container 1 in such a way as to completely close an opening 10 of the transport container 1, and wherein at least one receiving strip 4 is arranged on each of the three side wall elements 21a, 21b, 21c in such a way as to attach temperature storage elements 5 thereto, and wherein on at least one of the side wall elements 21a; 21c, a receiving frame 6 with at least one receiving strip 4 for the attachment of temperature storage elements 5 is movably arranged in such a way that, in the closed state of the transport container 1, the opening is at least partially covered and, in an open state of the transport container 1, the opening 10 is completely uncovered.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO TEMPERATURE CONTROL PACKAGES
The present invention relates to temperature control packages, such as coolant packages that are used to maintain a product within a narrow temperature range, a method of making the same and a system. In particular, the present invention relates to temperature control elements and temperature control packages which can be readily manufactured from natural materials and be capable of being readily recycled. Phase Change Material (PCM) technology allows one to configure, vis-a-vis logistics, a mixture of PCM components, to maintain an insulated box or container over a prescribed period—typically from 12-120 hours—within a prescribed temperature range taking into account, the volume and weight of the particular good being transported, the nature of the container, the season, the climate likely to be encountered, the anticipated route (air/sea/land) container configuration and hemisphere. The present invention provides a cold chain system phase change material package, the package comprising a container and a phase change material; wherein the container includes a fibre-based absorbent material; and, wherein the phase change material is principally water.
