The phase change material bladder is received within a cavity defined between the outer surface of the product box and the inner surface of the outer box. The shipper may also include an insulated liner which is received between the product box and the bladder.
Cryogenic composition
The present invention relates to a novel cryogenic composition intended to be used in thermal treatment devices, and also to its process of preparation. The invention also relates to a thermal treatment device and more particularly to a medical device used to cool a part of the human or animal body, in particular after trauma, inflammation or a surgical act. The invention has application in the therapeutic and/or medical field but also in other fields, such as, for example, for the cooling or the maintenance at low temperature of foodstuffs.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM
A temperature control system is used for controlling a temperature of a control target to a target temperature that changes with lapse of time. The system includes: a first adjustment apparatus that includes a first tank that stores a first heat transfer medium, adjusts the temperature of the first heat transfer medium to a first set temperature, and supplies the temperature-adjusted first heat transfer medium; a first circulation circuit through which the first heat transfer medium flows from the first adjustment apparatus to a first flow-through path and returns to the first adjustment apparatus; an adjustment section that adjusts an amount of heat supplied from the first flow-through path to the control target; a memory that stores a relation between the lapse of time and the target temperature; and a controller.
HEAT STORAGE PACK, COLD STORAGE PACK, LOGISTIC PACKAGING CONTAINER, LOGISTIC SYSTEM, AND LOGISTIC METHOD
A heat or cold storage pack is provided that contains a latent thermal storage material that can be restored during transport to prolong a heat or cold storage function thereof and that exhibits a reduced temperature change in a phase transition thereof to reliably maintain the temperature of an object to be kept warm or cold in a temperature range in which the object should be kept. The heat storage pack is for use in a logistic packaging container to adjust the temperature of an object to be kept warm and includes: a latent thermal storage material having a difference of less than 1° C. between a solidification temperature at which the latent thermal storage material starts changing phase from liquid to solid and an onset temperature of melting at which the latent thermal storage material starts changing phase from solid to liquid; and a housing section configured to house the latent thermal storage material, wherein the latent thermal storage material is selected in accordance with a temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept in such a manner that the solidification temperature is in the temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept and that the onset temperature of melting is lower than an upper limit of the temperature range in which the object to be kept warm should be kept.
UNIT LOAD DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING ARTICLES
The present disclosure relates to a unit load device and a method for storing and transporting articles. The unit load device includes: a housing defining an internal space and an opening to the internal space; and a cover configured to operably open or hermetically close the opening; wherein the housing is provided with a housing temperature control layer containing at least a first phase change material, and/or the cover is provided with a cover temperature control layer containing at least a second phase change material, so that during storage of articles in the internal space hermetically closed by the cover, a temperature of the internal space is within a preset temperature range after a preset period of time has elapsed.
Insulated cold pack
An insulated cold pack for cooling a product, the cold pack including a viscous cooling agent that may serve as a plant fertilizer when discarded. The cooling agent encapsulated in at least one sealed flexible walled package, the one or more flexible walled packages located on the first side of the insulated cold pack. In addition, the cold pack includes biodegradable loose-fill insulation covering the second side of the insulated cold pack. An encapsulating barrier surrounds both the viscous cooling agent on the first side of the insulated cold pack as well as the loose-fill insulation on the second side. The loose-fill insulation secured in position within the encapsulating barrier and the insulation positioned in contact with the product or optionally closely spaced from the product to be cooled.
COLD SUPPLY CHAIN PACKAGING COMPONENTS AND METHODS OF TRANSPORTING GOODS
A cold pack comprises a main body; an inner chamber defined by the main body; and a phase changeable medium disposed in the inner chamber. The phase changeable medium includes a polymer and a peptide, which can be a component of a peptide-containing composition. In specific examples, the polymer is an organic polymer, such as an organic superabsorbent polymer, and the peptide is a lateral root hair promoting peptide.
Transportation box
A transportation box (100) including a plurality of first phase change materials (16), a plurality of second phase change materials (20), a first box (18) adapted to enclose a payload box (10), a second box (22) and an outer box (14). The payload box (10) is embedded with the plurality of second phase change materials (20). Further, each of the plurality of first phase change materials (16) is placed above and below the payload box (10).
