A gas supply device is configured such that its supply state is switchable between a first supply state supplying, as supply air, nitrogen-enriched air produced from outside air into a containe, and a second supply state in which the gas supply device takes outside air therein and supplies, as supply air, the outside air into the container. A CA system is provided with a branch pipe which guides at least part of the supply air flowing through a supply passage to an oxygen sensor, and an open/close valve which opens/closes the branch pipe. An outside air calibration operation is performed in which the open/close valve is opened in the second supply state to guide the least part of the outside air flowing through the supply passage to the oxygen sensor, thereby calibrating the oxygen sensor using the outside air.

The multi-function filter cassette includes a first filter configured to remove contaminants from a first air flow within the refrigerated compartment, a second filter configured to remove contaminants and/or moisture from a second air flow within the storage chamber, and a central wall configured to prevent fluid communication between the refrigerated compartment and the storage chamber.

FRESHNESS PRESERVATION UNIT, STORAGE BOX, AND REFRIGERATOR

Disclosed is a freshness preservation unit for a storage box of a refrigerator. At least one through hole is provided on at least one box wall of the storage box. The freshness preservation unit comprises a housing wherein an accommodating space is formed. A freshness preservation film is provided in the accommodating space. The housing is provided with a fixing piece which is cooperatable with the box wall of the storage box such that the freshness preservation unit is assembled in the through hole of the storage box in a detachable manner. The freshness preservation unit realizes the functions of freshness preservation and storage for fruits and vegetables, and is assembled in the through hole of the storage box in a detachable manner, convenient to assembly and disassembly, convenient to cleaning and replacement, and low in the maintenance cost.
