Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a first storage compartment and a second storage compartment that is positioned vertically below the first storage compartment, a receiving drawer configured to be received into the second storage compartment, a mullion that partitions the first storage compartment from the second storage compartment, and an access cover configured to selectively open or close the access hole. The receiving drawer includes a receiving door configured to open and close the second storage compartment and a receiving box provided on a back surface of the receiving door. The mullion defines an access hole that allows fluid communication between the first and second storage compartments.
ICE STORAGE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a body having a storage compartment, an ice making device, and an ice bucket to store the generated ice. The ice bucket includes an ice bucket body, an ice storage space inside the ice bucket body, and a spacing member to allow ice to be spaced apart from the ice bucket body toward the ice storage space to secure a flow path of cool air, so that the cool air smoothly flows inside the ice bucket body. A full-ice detecting sensor having an emitter and a receiver to receive optical signals is provided. A control unit determines a full-ice status by receiving an output value of signals received from the full-ice detecting sensor.
Duct structure for cooling container-space of door and refrigerator using the same
A duct structure of a refrigerator equipped with a door provided with a container space separated from an internal space of the refrigerator comprises: a multi-duct which is provided in a rear space in the internal space of the refrigerator and which discharges cool air into the internal space of the refrigerator while allowing air to flow upward; a connecting outlet which is provided in an upper end of the multi-duct; a connecting duct which communicates with the connecting outlet and which is extended in a front-rear direction; a front duct which is connected to a front end of the connecting duct and which is extended in a left-right direction; and a nozzle unit which is provided in a lower portion of the front duct and which discharges cool air into the container space of door.
REFRIGERATOR WITH ICE MAKING FUNCTION
The present invention discloses a refrigerator with an ice making function, comprising a refrigerating compartment; a door of the refrigerating compartment; a freezing compartment; and an ice making compartment provided at the door of the refrigerating compartment; a compartment for an ice making evaporator; an ice making blower and the ice making evaporator provided in the compartment for the ice making evaporator, the ice making evaporator is communicated with the ice making compartment through an air intake duct and an air return duct, and a part of one of the air intake duct and the air return duct is provided in the refrigerating compartment.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator including a housing mounted at a rear surface of a door to define a storage space of food, a basket disposed inside the housing, a duct extending to the housing from one side of an evaporator to supply cold air generated by the evaporator into the storage space of the housing, and a fan assembly coupled to the duct to allow the cold air to be forcibly supplied.
Refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance is provided herein. The refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, a door, a secondary liner, and a heat exchange case. The cabinet may include an internal liner defining a freezer chamber and a fresh food chamber. The door may be attached to the cabinet. The secondary liner may be attached to the cabinet and define a sub-compartment in fluid isolation from the freezer chamber and the fresh food chamber. The heat exchange case may be attached to the internal liner at the freezer chamber in conductive thermal communication therewith. The heat exchange case may at least partially define a convection compartment along a portion of the internal liner. The convection compartment may be defined in fluid isolation from the freezer and in fluid communication with the sub-compartment.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage space, a door configured to open and close at least a portion of the storage space, and an ice maker assembly provided in the storage space. The ice maker assembly includes an ice maker provided forward of a cold air discharge port that is provided at a rear portion of the storage space, where the cold air discharge port is configured to deliver cold air, a front cover that covers a front side of the ice maker and that is configured to be exposed to an outside of the cabinet based on the door being opened, and a heat insulating material provided at a rear surface of the front cover and configured to at least partially block the cold air passing through the ice maker from being delivered past a front surface of the front cover.
Refrigeration door system and door assembly with defrosting and related methods
A refrigeration door system with a defrosting feature includes a housing defining a refrigerated cavity therein, and a door assembly carried by the housing and providing access to the refrigerated cavity. The door assembly includes a door frame and a sliding door coupled to the door frame, the sliding door switching between an open position providing the access to the refrigerated cavity and a closed position where the refrigerated cavity is inaccessible. The door frame includes a top member having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a first side member coupled transversely to the first end of the top member and having a side conduit therein, a second side member coupled transversely to the second end of the top member, and a medial member coupled transversely to the top member between the first end and the second end of the top member.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage space, a door configured to open and close at least a portion of the storage space, and an evaporator configured to generate cold air. The refrigerator also includes a first ice maker provided in the door, a second ice maker provided in the storage space and configured to be covered by the door when the door is closed, a first cold air guide configured to guide the cold air to the first ice maker, and a second cold air guide configured to guide the cold air to the second ice maker.
