Refrigerator having a thermoelectric module
Provided is a refrigerator. A thermoelectric module is disposed on a top surface of an ice compartment defined in a refrigerator door to discharge hot air through a cap deco disposed on a top surface of the door so that efficient ice making in the ice compartment is realized independently from a refrigeration cycle.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet including a refrigerating compartment and an evaporation chamber, a first door, a housing in the first door, an ice making room defining a cool air inflow hole and a cool air discharge hole, a chiller room defining a cool air discharge hole, a second door connected to the first door, a partition wall defining the ice making room, the chiller room, and a communication hole, a damper opening and closing the communication hole, a cool air supply duct connecting an outlet of the evaporation chamber and the cool air inflow hole to supply cool air of the evaporation chamber to the ice making room and a cool air return duct having a first inlet connected to the cool air discharge hole of the ice making chamber and a second inlet connected to the cool air discharge hole of the chiller room.
Sectorized Cooling Arrangement for Refrigerators
A sectorized sub-zero cooling arrangement for refrigerators with direct access to the consumer products without having to open other cold storage chambers of the refrigerator. The sectorized cooling arrangement has at least one access door to at least one cold storage chamber. The access door is provided with a sectorized compartment with multiple storage sectors for containers of consumer products. The compartment is equipped with a partition wall that separates it from the cold storage chamber and at least one air extractor/blower with the cold storage chamber on the upstream side and the sectorized compartment on the downstream side.
WALL-MOUNTED REFRIGERATOR AND PELTIER EFFECT COOLING SYSTEM
A refrigerator is wall-mounted. The refrigerator has a frame with an insulated compartment supporting a plurality of shelves, a front panel covering the frame and having at least one window for displaying refrigerated articles supported by the shelves, at least one door to access the articles supported by the shelves, a cooling unit, an air recirculation system having a warm air collector for collecting warm air and having a warm air channel for directing air through the cooling unit to provide cooled air, at least one fan, and a cold air channel for directing the cooled air back into the compartment and a mounting for anchoring the refrigerator with respect to a wall. The thermal efficiency of the refrigerator may be enhanced as described herein.
Refrigerator appliance
A refrigerator appliance is generally provided herein. The refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, an icebox liner, an icemaker, an ice bin, and a circulation duct. The cabinet may define a one or more chilled chambers. The icebox liner may be attached to the cabinet. The icebox liner may define a sub-compartment in which the icemaker may be mounted. The ice bin may define a storage volume within the sub-compartment to receive ice from the icemaker. The circulation duct may extend within the sub-compartment in conductive thermal communication with the icemaker. The circulation duct may define an air passage in fluid communication with one of the chilled chambers and fluid isolation from the storage volume.
BEVERAGE ZONE DUCT FOR TRIPLE EVAPORATOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes an outer wrapper, a fresh food compartment defined by a liner within the wrapper and separated from an interior of the outer wrapper at least along a first side wall of the fresh food compartment to define a void, and a door at least partially enclosing an opening to the fresh food compartment when in a closed position. A door compartment is positioned along the door. The refrigerator further includes an evaporator compartment positioned at least partially within the fresh food compartment and a duct in fluid communication with the evaporator compartment at a first end thereof and in communication with the door compartment a second end thereof. The duct has a first portion that extends laterally from the first end along a portion of the evaporator compartment and a second portion extending through the void along the first side wall of the fresh food compartment.
Attachment system for an ice maker
An ice making assembly for a refrigerator appliance is provided. The ice making assembly includes an icebox defining an ice making chamber and a heat exchanger aperture. The icebox is mounted to a refrigerator door and surrounded by a door liner defining a circulation duct for receiving cooled airflow. A heat exchanger is positioned within the heat exchanging aperture and includes a first side positioned within the ice making chamber and a second side positioned outside the ice making chamber within the circulation duct. An icemaker is positioned within the ice making chamber and a fastener removably attaches the icemaker to the first side of the heat exchanger.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a first storage compartment and a second storage compartment that is positioned vertically below the first storage compartment, a receiving drawer configured to be received into the second storage compartment, a mullion that partitions the first storage compartment from the second storage compartment, and an access cover configured to selectively open or close the access hole. The receiving drawer includes a receiving door configured to open and close the second storage compartment and a receiving box provided on a back surface of the receiving door. The mullion defines an access hole that allows fluid communication between the first and second storage compartments.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator including a housing mounted at a rear surface of a door to define a storage space of food, a basket disposed inside the housing, a duct extending to the housing from one side of an evaporator to supply cold air generated by the evaporator into the storage space of the housing, and a fan assembly coupled to the duct to allow the cold air to be forcibly supplied.
Door vent sealing assembly
A refrigeration appliance includes a cabinet that defines a cabinet outlet and a cabinet inlet in fluid communication with a freezer compartment. A door is pivotally coupled to the cabinet. The door defines a door inlet in fluid communication with the cabinet outlet and a door outlet in fluid communication with the cabinet inlet when the door is in a closed position. An icemaker compartment is disposed in the door. The icemaker compartment is fluidly coupled with the freezer compartment. A retainer is at least partially disposed in each of the door inlet and the door outlet. Each retainer includes a rim that defines ribs. Each rib is spaced apart from adjacent ribs. A gasket is coupled to each retainer. Each gasket includes an abutment surface that abuts a cabinet surface when the door is in the closed position to seal airflow passages between the freezer compartment and the icemaker compartment.
