System and apparatus for air flow handling in an aircraft monument
In an illustrative embodiment, an aircraft galley ducting assembly provides airflow to at least one compartment of an aircraft galley monument. The ducting assembly may include a supply air duct that provides a supply airflow path to a compartment that includes an inlet port mounted to a compartment surface. A return air duct may provide an exit airflow path for return air that has circulated throughout the compartment and includes an outlet port mounted to the compartment surface. An airflow adjustment apparatus with an airflow adjustment surface is positioned within the supply airflow path of the supply air duct or the exit airflow path of the return air duct to cause a modification of airflow properties for air passing across or through the airflow adjustment surface.

An appliance drawer assembly configured to redirect airflow from a cold air dispensing unit. The drawer assembly includes at least one drawer, a top cover, and a pivot assembly. The drawer includes a first and second side wall, a rear wall, a front wall, and a bottom wall that together define an open storage area therein. The pivot assembly is configured to pivot the rear wall from a first position to a second position. The pivot assembly can include a grip portion and an arm portion slidably coupled to the top of the first side wall, or a pin coupled to the first side wall to engage the rear wall. The drawer can also include at least one integral scoop.
Refrigerator appliances having multiple fluidly-connected, chilled chambers
A refrigerator appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a first liner, a second liner, a first fan, a second fan, and a return line. The cabinet may define an evaporator chamber. The first liner may be attached to the cabinet and may define a first chilled chamber having a primary air inlet, a secondary air inlet, and an air outlet. The second liner may be attached to the cabinet and may define a second chilled chamber spaced apart from the first chilled chamber, the second chilled chamber having an air inlet and an air outlet. The return line may extend in fluid communication from the air outlet of the second chilled chamber to the secondary air inlet of the first chilled chamber.
REFRIGERATOR
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a body, a storage compartment provided to allow a front surface thereof to be open in the body and including a freezing compartment and a refrigerating compartment, a freezing compartment evaporator provided at a rear of the freezing compartment and configured to generate cold air supplied to the freezing compartment and the refrigerating compartment, a fan including a first fan configured to guide cold air generated by the freezing compartment evaporator to the freezing compartment, and a second fan configured to guide the cold air generated by the freezing compartment evaporator to the refrigerating compartment, and a variable temperature compartment formed by a roll-bond evaporator disposed inside the refrigerating compartment.
REFRIGERATOR WITH ILLUMINATION UNIT
A refrigerator includes a storage compartment and an air channel assembly extending along an inner wall of the storage compartment. The air channel assembly includes a first wall facing a storage space and a second wall opposite to the first wall, and there is an interval between the first wall and the second wall to form an air channel. The first wall includes at least one air vent in fluid communication with the storage space and the air channel. An illumination unit is disposed on the second wall and is configured to emit light toward the first wall to illuminate the air vent.
Shroud for refrigerator
There is disclosed a shroud for a refrigerator including a blower for generating air flow; a first region arranged on the right of the blower, the first region comprising an outlet hole for a first storage chamber for exhausting cold air to the first storage chamber; a second region arranged on the left of the blower, the second region comprising an outlet hole for a second storage chamber for exhausting cold air to the second storage; a third region arranged under the blower, the third region comprising an outlet hole for the second storage chamber; and a first guide arranged between the second region and the third region, projected closer to a rotational center of the blower, to guide air flow.
Deodorizing apparatus and refrigerator including the same
The present disclosure relates to a technique capable of being used even in an environment that needs to be maintained at a low temperature. The present disclosure may include a fan configured to generate a flow of air, an absorbing material disposed downstream from the fan and configured to absorb a malodorous substance from air passing therethrough and to desorb the malodorous substance by being heated, an upstream heater disposed downstream from the fan and upstream from the absorbing material and configured to heat air entered the absorbing material, a catalyst configured to decompose the malodorous substance desorbed from the absorbing material, and a cooler configured to cool air passed through the catalyst.
Ice-making compartment for an appliance
A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a refrigeration system having an evaporator. An ice-making compartment is positioned within the cabinet and includes a housing defining an inlet aperture on an upper portion of the housing and an outlet aperture. An ice storage bin is positioned in a lower portion of the housing. An ice tray is positioned above the ice storage bin. An inlet duct is in fluid communication with the inlet aperture and is configured to direct air into the housing from the evaporator. The inlet duct includes a first branch having a plurality of first branch channels to direct air to a plurality of first branch locations on a first surface of the ice tray. A second branch of the inlet duct directs air to a second surface of the ice tray. An outlet duct is in fluid communication with the outlet aperture and is configured to direct air from the housing to the evaporator.
