A refrigerator appliance is provided herein. The refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, a door, a secondary liner, and a heat exchange case. The cabinet may include an internal liner defining a freezer chamber and a fresh food chamber. The door may be attached to the cabinet. The secondary liner may be attached to the cabinet and define a sub-compartment in fluid isolation from the freezer chamber and the fresh food chamber. The heat exchange case may be attached to the internal liner at the freezer chamber in conductive thermal communication therewith. The heat exchange case may at least partially define a convection compartment along a portion of the internal liner. The convection compartment may be defined in fluid isolation from the freezer and in fluid communication with the sub-compartment.

A vacuum adiabatic body is provided that includes a first plate member, a second plate member, a sealing part sealing the first plate member and the second plate member to provide a third space that has a temperature between the temperature of the first space and the temperature of the second space and is in a vacuum state, a supporting unit maintaining the third space, a heat resistance unit reducing an amount of heat transferred between the first plate member and the second plate member, a port through which air in the third space is discharged, and a heat exchange module coming into contact with an inner surface of a cavity provided by the first plate member and the second plate member so as to perform heat exchange.

An aseptic ice making system includes an ice making system to receive water from a water supply. The ice making system includes an ice producing subsystem to produce ice and a positive air pressure subsystem to maintain a positive air pressure environment within the ice making system.
Cold air duct cover with side holes used in refrigerator
A duct cover for a cold air duct of a refrigerator and a method of providing cold air. The duct cover has openings located on the side panels which allow cold air to flow to the storage room from the cold air duct in a lateral direction relative to the main panel of the duct cover. A three-dimensional pattern is formed on the surface of the duct cover to reduce surface adhesive between the condensed water drops and the duct cover surface.
Shared evaporator system
A refrigerator includes an evaporator, a first fan, a first duct, a first return duct, a second fan, a second duct, and a second return duct. A first temperature sensor measures a first temperature in a first enclosed space. A second temperature sensor measures a second temperature in a second enclosed space. The first duct is mounted between the evaporator and the first enclosed space to receive air from the first duct and move it into the first enclosed space. The first return duct is mounted between the first enclosed space and the evaporator. The second duct is mounted between the evaporator and the second enclosed space to receive air from the second duct and move it into the second enclosed space. The second return duct is mounted between the second enclosed space and the evaporator. A refrigerator controller controls the evaporator and independent operation of both fans.
SHELF FOR DOMESTIC REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE AND DOMESTIC REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
A shelf for a domestic refrigeration appliance includes an upper cover plate, a lower cover plate and a frame in which the cover plates are disposed. An intermediate space is formed between the cover plates as a thermally insulated space. A channel for conducting media is provided in the frame separately from the intermediate space. A domestic refrigeration appliance having the shelf is also provided.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator has a flow path structure formed by a heat-exchanger. The refrigerator includes storage compartments, and a cool air supplying unit provided at a rear of the storage compartments to supply cool air at the storage compartments, and the cool air supplying unit includes a heat-exchanger to divide a flow path at which cool air is provided to flow along the cool air supplying unit.

A rotation transmission mechanism may include a plurality of rotation transmission members having a drive wheel and a driven wheel, and an urging member which urges the driven wheel in a reverse direction to a rotational direction by power of the drive source. The drive wheel and the driven wheel are provided with engagement parts structured to transmit turning of the drive wheel to the driven wheel, the drive wheel is provided with a cam face forming part on which the engagement part of the driven wheel is slid at a rotational position where the engagement parts are not engaged with each other, and a brake member structured to generate a rotation load is disposed in a range on an upstream side of a power transmission path including the drive wheel with respect to the driven wheel in the power transmission path transmitting the power of the drive source.
Positive air pressure ice making and dispensing system
An aseptic ice making system includes an ice making system to receive water from a water supply. The ice making system includes an ice producing subsystem to produce ice and a positive air pressure subsystem to maintain a positive air pressure environment within the ice making system.

A refrigerator include: an inner case having a storage chamber; a thermoelectric module including a thermoelectric element and a cooling sink; a fan configured to circulate air, to the storage chamber; a fan cover configured to cover the fan and having an upper discharge hole, a lower discharge hole, and an inner suction hole formed between the upper discharge hole and the lower discharge hole; a first receiving member disposed in the storage chamber; and a second receiving member disposed over the first receiving member to be spaced apart from the first receiving member. At least a portion of each of the inner suction hole and the lower discharge hole faces a portion between the first receiving member and the second receiving member, and at least a portion of the upper discharge hole faces a portion between a top surface of the storage chamber and the second receiving member.
