SINGLE AIR PASSAGEWAY AND DAMPER ASSEMBLY IN A VARIABLE CLIMATE ZONE COMPARTMENT
A refrigeration appliance including a partition that defines a through passage between an upper compartment and a lower compartment. A temperature control system is positioned in the upper compartment and includes an air passage. A lower inlet opening extends through a front surface of the vertical partition to the air passage. A damper assembly includes a door that is moveable between a first position and a second position. When the door is in the first position the door fluidly isolates the through passage in the partition from the upper compartment while allowing the lower inlet opening in the vertical partition to fluidly communicate with the air passage in the vertical partition. When the door is in the second position the door fluidly isolates the lower inlet opening from the air passage while allowing the through passage to fluidly communicate with the upper compartment.

Embodiments include a cooling system comprising a mobile container, conveyor system, and sensor feedback system. Container includes at least a first, second, and third section. First section holds at least one pallet containing produce. Second section includes a cooling mechanism to cool the produce within the at least one pallet to an optimal temperature. Third section includes the cooling mechanism to maintain the cooled produce in the at least one pallet at the optimal temperature. Conveyor system may be used to convey the at least one pallet across the cooling system. Sensor feedback system is configured to continuously measure and track at least the weight of the at least one pallet and temperature of the produce within the at least one pallet as the at least one pallet is conveyed across the cooling system.
REFRIGERATOR WITH RETURN AIR INLETS FORMED IN TWO SIDEWALLS OF CABINET
A refrigerator (100) includes: a cabinet (110), in which are defined a cooling chamber (150) at a lower portion and a first storage compartment and a second storage compartment which are spaced side by side above the cooling chamber (150); and an evaporator, arranged in the cooling chamber (150) and configured to cool an airflow entering the cooling chamber (150) to form a cooled airflow. At least one first return air inlet communicated with the cooling chamber (150) is formed in a left sidewall of the first storage compartment such that a return airflow of the first storage compartment enters the cooling chamber (150) to be cooled via the first return air inlet. At least one second return air inlet communicated with the cooling chamber (150) is formed in a right sidewall of the second storage compartment such that a return airflow of the second storage compartment enters the cooling chamber (150) to be cooled via the second return air inlet. The available compartment volume of the refrigerator is increased, and the return air inlets communicated with the cooling chamber (150) are formed in left and right sidewalls of the cabinet respectively.
SUPERCOOLING FREEZER BOX
A supercooling refrigerator (1000) including: a refrigerator body (100); a door (200) for opening and closing one side of the refrigerator body (100); an accommodating portion (400) provided inside the refrigerator body (100) and seated with an object (M) to be stored; a cooling duct (600) including a fan for taking in air in the refrigerator body (100) and discharging the air, and an evaporator (630) for cooling the air discharged from the fan; and a cool air supply duct (700) formed with a cool air discharge port (710) through which the air cooled through the cooling duct (600) is discharged into the refrigerator body (100), the fan being a cross flow fan (620) including a plurality of discs (622), and a plurality of blades (623) disposed between the discs (622) along outer circumferential surfaces of the discs (622).
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention can comprise: a refrigerator chamber; a freezer chamber partitioned from the refrigerator chamber; a deep-freezing chamber accommodated inside the freezer chamber and partitioned from the freezer chamber; and a freezer evaporator chamber formed on the rear side of the deep-freezing chamber. A refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention can further comprise a partition wall comprising a grill fan, which partitions the freezer evaporator chamber and the freezer chamber, and a shroud which is connected to the back surface of the grill fan and forms a flow path for supplying cold air of the freezer evaporator chamber to the freezer chamber.
INDUCTION HEATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INDUCTION HEATING APPARATUS
A refrigerator is proposed. Due to a first heater provided in a damper assembly, a damper assembly or the connection portion of the damper assembly with a supply duct is prevented from freezing, and due to a second heater provided in the supply duct, the connection portion of the supply duct with the damper assembly or the inside of the supply duct is prevented from freezing.
ICE MAKER ASSEMBLY FOR A COOLING DEVICE
A cooling device including a liner defining a freezer compartment, a shelf positioned within the freezer compartment, and an ice maker assembly secured to the shelf. The ice maker assembly including an ice maker configured to produce ice pieces, and an ice maker support frame that supports the ice maker. The ice maker support frame includes a fill cup and an air plenum, the air plenum defining a channel therein and extends between first and second walls of the ice maker support frame. A fan is disposed adjacent the ice maker frame at a location corresponding to the air plenum. The fill cup is configured to receive water from a water fill tube and direct the water to an ice tray of the ice maker.
MERCHANDISER
A refrigerated merchandiser including a case having a first case section. The first and second case sections define first and second product display areas. The first case section further defines an air passageway and the second case section includes a glass panel.
