COUNTERTOP FREEZER
A countertop freezer and systems and methods for removing moisture from a refrigeration system are provided. In some embodiments, the countertop freezer includes a bin. In some embodiments, the bin includes a removable insert that is adaptable to the type(s) of products to be sold. In some embodiments, the countertop freezer includes a sliding mechanism that causes the bin to slide outward as the door is opened. In some embodiments, the countertop freezer includes a lighting mechanism on the door that is modular/serviceable and shines light at an angle to allow the product to be illuminated both when the door is closed and when the door is opened.
Drain spout for drain of HVAC system
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes a drain pan configured to collect condensate generated by the HVAC unit. The HVAC unit also includes a drain spout having a rigid outlet port coupled to the drain pan and a flexible conduit coupled to the rigid outlet port. The drain spout is adjustable between a first configuration configured to discharge the condensate from the HVAC unit via a first opening of the HVAC unit and a second configuration configured to discharge the condensate from the HVAC unit via a second opening of the HVAC unit.
WATER-SHEDDING DEVICE FOR EVAPORATOR CORES
A heat exchanger that includes a first manifold; a second manifold; a plurality of refrigerant tubes configured to fluidically couple the first and second manifolds; a plurality of fins placed between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, such that the fins and refrigerant tubes define a core having a plurality of open channels that allow air to flow there through; and a water-shedding device positioned approximate to the first manifold with a separation distance being maintained there between. At least a portion of the water-shedding device extends into one or more fin free windows located between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, such that condensate is extracted from between the refrigerant tubes.
Systems, devices, and/or methods for managing condensate and/or water
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, machine, assembly, device, and/or manufacture and/or a method for activities that can relate to, a condensate trap that can comprise a float and a housing configured to receive condensate from a condensate-producing source and contain the float, the condensate trap configured to allow condensate to exit from the housing to a condensate drain.
REFRIGERATION FACILITY
A refrigeration facility such as a refrigeration container includes a refrigeration device cooling an interior of the refrigeration facility and including an evaporator allowing air inside the refrigeration facility to pass through. A condensate port serving as a corrosive gas detector is installed in a drain hose. The drain hose disposes condensate water from a drain pan, which collects condensate water generated by the evaporator. Detecting corrosive gas in the air inside the container by using a pH sensor to examine a pH value of condensate water in the drain port allows for reducing the risk of corrosion of components installed inside the container.
Drain hose assembly and refrigerator including the same
A refrigerator includes: an evaporator housing provided behind a storage and including an evaporator for cooling the storage; a machine room disposed below the storage and provided with a discharge plug connected to the evaporator housing; a defrost tray installed in a lower portion of the machine room to collect defrost water discharged through the discharge plug; and a drain hose assembly connecting the discharge plug and the defrost water tray to allow the defrost water to flow toward the defrost water tray. The drain hose assembly includes a drain cap connected to the discharge plug and limiting introduction of external air into the evaporator housing and a drain hose having one end connected to the drain cap and another end connected to the defrost water tray, and a length of the drain hose assembly is adjustable by joining between the drain cap and the drain hose.
Storage system for house entrance
A storage system for a house entrance includes an entrance refrigerator, a storage placed at a rear of the entrance refrigerator, and a blocking plate covering a gap formed between the entrance refrigerator and the storage. An intake hole is provided at a lower portion of the blocking plate and a discharge hole is provided at an upper portion of the blocking plate.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE AUXILIARY EVAPORATION TRAY
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet that defines a food storage chamber. An evaporator is in fluid communication with the food storage chamber such that cool dry air flows from the evaporator to the food storage chamber and warm humid air flows to the evaporator from the food storage chamber. The refrigerator appliance also includes a meltwater conduit in fluid communication with the evaporator downstream of the evaporator such that the meltwater conduit receives a flow of meltwater from the evaporator. An auxiliary evaporation tray is immediately downstream of the meltwater conduit such that the auxiliary evaporation tray receives the flow of meltwater directly from the meltwater conduit. A primary evaporation tray is downstream of the auxiliary evaporation tray.
Refrigeration device
This refrigeration device is provided with: an evaporator configuring a refrigeration circuit; a cascade condenser configuring the refrigeration circuit; and a thermal insulation board arranged between the evaporator and the cascade condenser.
Pressure relief jumper drain for an appliance
A jumper drain for a refrigerator appliance, the jumper drain including a housing with a cavity defined therein and that is in fluid communication with a storage compartment of the refrigerator appliance. An inlet and an outlet extend from the housing and are both in fluid communication with the cavity. The outlet is disposed at a location that is offset from the inlet. A pressure equalizer opening is formed in the housing. The pressure equalizer opening is configured to provide fluid communication between the cavity and an ambient environment external to the refrigerator appliance in order to equalize a pressure differential within the refrigerator appliance.
