Refrigerating appliance and water outlet arrangement for a refrigerating appliance
11927384 · 2024-03-12 · ·

A refrigerating appliance, or household refrigerating appliance, includes a refrigerated goods container and a machine compartment having a wall facing the goods container, an insulating material region between the goods container and the machine compartment wall, and a water outlet arrangement conducting condensate from the goods container through the insulating material region and machine compartment wall into an evaporation container in the machine compartment. The water outlet arrangement has a trough-shaped wall region of the goods container oriented towards the machine compartment wall and extending funnel-like to a drip edge. A tube facility extends from the wall region through the insulating material region and an opening in the machine compartment wall into the machine compartment. A positioning device mutually positions the wall region and tube facility, securing the drip edge radially in the tube facility and circumferentially spaced from an inner wall of the tube facility.

Water-shedding device for evaporator cores

A heat exchanger that includes a first manifold; a second manifold; a plurality of refrigerant tubes configured to fluidically couple the first and second manifolds; a plurality of fins placed between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, such that the fins and refrigerant tubes define a core having a plurality of open channels that allow air to flow there through; and a water-shedding device positioned approximate to the first manifold with a separation distance being maintained there between. At least a portion of the water-shedding device extends into one or more fin free windows located between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, such that condensate is extracted from between the refrigerant tubes.

REFRIGERATION DEVICE

This refrigeration device is provided with: an evaporator configuring a refrigeration circuit; a cascade condenser configuring the refrigeration circuit; and a thermal insulation board arranged between the evaporator and the cascade condenser.

Refrigerator and operation method of the same

A refrigerator includes: a compressor; an evaporator; a main condenser; a dew-prevention pipe; a bypass provided in parallel with a first channel from the main condenser to the dew-prevention pipe, and connected with the evaporator; a switching section provided on a downstream side of the main condenser, in which the switching section opens and closes the first channel, and a second channel from the main condenser to the bypass; and a control section. When defrosting the evaporator, the control section operates in such a manner that a refrigerant staying in the evaporator, the dew-prevention pipe, and the bypass is collected in the main condenser by closing the first channel and the second channel during an operation of the compressor, and thereafter, a high-pressure refrigerant collected in the main condenser is supplied to the evaporator through the bypass by stopping the compressor and opening the second channel.
