A refrigerator includes a storage space, an evaporator configured to cool air in the storage space based on heat exchange of a refrigerant, and a defroster configured to remove frost formed on the evaporator. The defroster incudes a pipe extended around the evaporator and including a circulation channel through which working fluid circulates, a fluid storage including a first opening and a second opening respectively communicating with opposite end portions of the pipe and configured to store the working fluid, and a pumping part disposed at a selected position on the circulation channel of the pipe between the evaporator and the fluid storage and configured to vaporize the working fluid to circulate the vaporized working fluid in the circulation channel.
Heat exchanger having a condensate extractor
The disclosure presents a heat exchanger assembly having a first manifold, a second manifold spaced from the first manifold, a plurality of refrigerant tubes extending between and in hydraulic communication with the first and second manifolds, a plurality of corrugated fins inserted between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, and a condensate extractor having a comb baffle portion with fingers inserted between the plurality of refrigerant tubes and a conveyance portion. The comb baffle portion is configured to extract condensate from between the plurality of refrigerant tubes and the conveyance portion is configured to convey condensate away from the heat exchanger assembly.

A refrigerating cabinet (1) comprises at least one goods presentation and air circulation space (2), a refrigeration cycle for cooling the at least one goods presentation and air circulation space (2), and at least one drain conduit (36; 42) configured for draining condensed water, which is produced when the refrigeration circuit is operating, from the at least one goods presentation and air circulation space (2). At least a portion of the at least one drain conduit (36; 42) is filled with a granulate material (34) or provided with a movable flap (48) allowing water to pass through the drain conduit (36; 42) and blocking air from passing through the drain conduit (36; 42).
Drain hose assembly and refrigerator including the same
A refrigerator includes a storage chamber; an evaporator; an evaporator receiving portion and a defrost water tray slantingly arranged at a lower side of the evaporator receiving portion; a machinery chamber having an evaporation tray; an upper hose communicated with the defrost water tray; a lower hose connected to the upper hose while extending to the evaporation tray, the lower hose being provided, at one side thereof, with an air inlet hole to introduce outside air. The air inlet hole is formed at a slanted mounting surface protruding inside of a vertically-extending portion of the lower hose while being slanted downward. An opening and closing unit is provided in the vertically-extending portion of the lower hose that is configured to open the air inlet hole by an internal pressure of the storage chamber during opening of the door, and to close the air inlet hole by gravity.

A refrigerator comprises: a refrigerator body (10), at the interior of which a cooling chamber (11) and at least one storage space are confined, wherein the cooling chamber (11) is arranged at the bottom of the refrigerator body (10) and below the storage space; door bodies (20) arranged on a front surface of the refrigerator body (10) to operably open and close the storage space; and an evaporator (21), which is wholly horizontally placed in the shape of a flat cube in the cooling chamber (11) and configured to provide cold energy to the storage space, wherein a bottom wall of the cooling chamber (11) below the evaporator (21) is provided with a water pan (40) to receive condensate water generated by the evaporator (21), and the bottom of the water pan (40) is provided with compensation heating wires (80).

A refrigerator having an inclined drain pipe disposed at a lower portion of the refrigerator comprises: a cabinet; a storage chamber, a refrigeration cavity, a heat dissipation machine compartment, and a front wall of the heat dissipation machine compartment extends obliquely upwards from front to back from the middle of a cabinet bottom plate; an evaporation dish; a drain pipe extends obliquely downwards from front to back from the bottom of the refrigeration cavity, passes through the front wall of the heat dissipation machine compartment and then further extends to the evaporation dish; a water pipe securing member is arranged at the position where the drain pipe passes through the front wall; the water pipe securing member has a first securing face, and the first securing face is abutting the front wall of the heat dissipation machine compartment.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH CONDUIT SYSTEM IN FLUID COMMUNICATION WITH BOTH REFRIGERATION COMPARTMENT AND FREEZER COMPARTMENT
A refrigeration appliance includes: (a) a cabinet including (i) a vacuum insulated structure at least partially defining a refrigeration compartment and a freezer compartment and (ii) a conduit system in fluid communication with both the refrigeration compartment and the freezer compartment; (b) a refrigeration door coupled to the cabinet, the refrigeration door manipulable to, from, and between (i) a closed position where the refrigeration door denies access to the refrigeration compartment from an external environment and (ii) an open position where the refrigeration door allows access to the refrigeration compartment from the external environment; and (c) a refrigeration door coupled to the cabinet, the refrigeration door manipulable to, from, and between (i) a closed position where the refrigeration door denies access to the refrigeration compartment from an external environment and (ii) an open position where the refrigeration door allows access to the refrigeration compartment from the external environment.
Ice maker
An ice maker including piping for water drainage therein is provided. The ice maker includes a cabinet body, an ice storage portion provided in the cabinet body and separable from the cabinet body, a first coupling portion disposed on a lower surface of the ice storage portion and having a first coupling hole, a drain portion provided downwardly of the cabinet body within the cabinet body and including a drainage passage connected to an external drainage hole, and an overflow socket inserted into the first coupling hole and connected to the drainage passage to connect the ice storage portion to the drain portion, and configuring a path allowing water received by the ice storage portion to be discharged to the drainage passage, thereby providing an ice maker having easy separation and coupling.
MODULAR TANK FOR A REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CASE
A temperature controlled case includes a housing that defines a temperature controlled space; a cooling system in thermal communication with the temperature controlled space; and a modular tank supporting the housing and the cooling system. According to one embodiment, the modular tank includes: a body having a top surface, a drain defined by the top surface, and at least one groove defined by the top surface, wherein a groove of the at least one groove receives a component of the housing to couple the component to the modular tank.
Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator
A vacuum adiabatic body according to the present invention includes a supporting block which is fastened to an outer surface of any one plate placed outside the control space in a plate member which provides a wall of the vacuum adiabatic body.
