Vacuum adiabatic module and refrigerator
Provided is a vacuum adiabatic module. The vacuum adiabatic module include an inner cover corresponding to an inner space, an outer cover corresponding to an outer space, the outer cover being provided to be larger than the inner cover, a vacuum space which is defined as inner spaces of the outer cover and the inner cover and is in a vacuum state, and a conductive resistance sheet provided on a connection portion between the inner cover and the outer cover to resist to thermal conduction. According to this embodiment, the vacuum adiabatic module may be more conveniently applied to the refrigerator and easily handled to easily fabricate the refrigerator.
APPLIANCE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A laundry appliance including a chassis with a cabinet enclosing an interior of the appliance. A tub is provided within the appliance defining a liquid chamber. A drum is provided in the liquid chamber defining a treating chamber for treating articles according to a cycle of operation. The treating chamber can be enclosed by a door, selectively openable by a user to access the treating chamber. The door can be selectively opened in three different ways.
Hinge assembly for a refrigerator
A hinge assembly is provided for pivotally mounting a door on a refrigerator cabinet. The refrigerator cabinet includes a top wall, a bottom wall, a pair of opposed side walls extending between the bottom and top wall, and a face that is normal to the top wall, bottom wall, and opposed side walls. The hinge assembly includes a hinge bracket, hinge pin, and door stop member. The hinge bracket is attachable to the cabinet and includes a threaded aperture having a first end and a second end. The hinge pin defines an axis about which the door can rotate and is threadably insertable into either end of the threaded aperture. The door stop member is configured to rotate about the axis and prohibit rotation of the door beyond a certain position.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
The present invention relates to methods of forming and/or using a household appliance that includes a cabinet where items are disposed, a door mounted onto the cabinet, a glass panel having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a sheet-shaped mounting member. The mounting member extends between the inner surface of the glass panel and the outer panel of the door, thereby allowing the glass panel to be mounted onto the door and enabling a user to use it as a handle.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a speaker assembly disposed on an upper side of the cabinet so as to be inclined forward, and the speaker assembly is disposed to be exposed to the outside to efficiently transmit sound to the outside of the refrigerator. Further, the cover member disposed on the upper side of the speaker assembly may prevent the penetration of water, foreign matter, etc. on the outside. The refrigerator also includes a rotatable USB port located above the door so that the user may easily connect the USB device to the USB port.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a main body on which a hinge for rotatably supporting the door is mounted, a base frame mounted on the main body and having a first hinge accommodating portion formed at one end portion and a second hinge accommodating portion formed at the other end portion that is opposite to the one end portion, a hinge cover mounted on one of the first hinge accommodating portion and the second hinge accommodating portion, and configured to cover the hinge, and a cover frame configured to be coupled with the base frame by sliding in a first direction or by sliding in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction.
VACUUM ADIABATIC MODULE AND REFRIGERATOR
A vacuum adiabatic module is provided.
Storage structure for refrigerator appliance
A cover is provided for a storage bin of a refrigerator. The cover includes a panel and a communication portion. The panel has an upper surface for storing food items thereon that is substantially planar and substantially horizontal. Moreover, the panel separates an upper space located above the panel from a lower space located below the panel. The communication portion is configured to provide fluid communication between the upper and lower spaces. In particular, the communication portion includes an upward-facing recessed surface, one or more side wall portions that extend above and at least partially bound the recessed surface, and a plurality of apertures that extend through the recessed surface and provide fluid communication between the upper space and lower space. The recessed surface and the one or more side wall portions collectively define a recess. Optionally, a wine rack is provided.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage space, a hinge bracket configured to be installed on an upper wall of the cabinet and having a hinge shaft, a door configured to be connected to the hinge shaft and to open and close the storage space while rotating, and a hinge cover configured to be installed on the upper wall of the cabinet and to cover the hinge bracket, in which the hinge cover includes a first mounting part and a second mounting part disposed to be spaced apart in a horizontal direction, a bracket cover detachably mounted on one mounting part of the first mounting part and the second mounting part disposed at a position corresponding to the hinge bracket and configured to cover the hinge bracket, and a shielding member detachably mounted on another mounting part of the first mounting part and the second mounting part.
