MULTI-JOINT LINK HINGE AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A multi-joint link hinge includes a hinge bracket, a plurality of side portions, a link module, and a door bracket coupled to the link module. The hinge bracket includes a base portion that defines a plurality of screw coupling holes at a vertical surface of the base portion, and a plurality of side portions that extend from the base portion in a horizontal direction and are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction. The link module includes a plurality of links that are coupled to the plurality of side portions along an axis that extends in the vertical direction, where the plurality of links is disposed between the plurality of side portions.
PIVOT HINGE
A pivot hinge includes a spring housing with a central tube, a spring assembly, an upper mounting plate, and a lower mounting plate. The bottom end includes a knurled outer surface. A stop cam is positioned about the knurled outer surface and has an inner surface that conform to the knurled outer surface so that it may be positioned in a plurality of rotatable positions relative to the central tube. The stop cam also has an exterior surface which includes a detent. The different rotational positions of the stop cam upon the knurled outer surface changes the relative position of the detent in relationship to the central tube. A cam follower assembly is coupled to the lower mounting plate and has a cam follower plate with a cam follower that rides upon the stop cam and engages the detent recess to hold the door in an open position.
PIVOT HINGE
A pivot hinge includes a spring housing with a central tube, a spring assembly, an upper mounting plate, and a lower mounting plate. A pivot pin is positioned within the central tube and is coupled to a torsion spring. A top end of the pivot pin is received within a central channel of a spring bushing. The spring bushing has a cylindrical main portion and a undulating ridge forming three radially positioned high areas or tongues and three radially positioned low areas, troughs or grooves. The grooves are configured to receive or mesh with interior steps in the central tube to prevent relative rotation between the spring bushing and the central tube Each tongue also includes a spring mounting recess therein. The top end of the cylindrical main portion extends through and is journalled within the top opening of the central tube.
REFRIGERATOR
The refrigerator includes a main body having an opening on a front side, an upper opening and a lower opening divided in the main body by a partition wall, an upper door to open and close the upper opening, a lower door to open and close the lower opening, and a hinge mechanism configured such that the door is rotatably coupled with respect to the main body, wherein the hinge mechanism includes a multiaxial hinge provided above and below each of the upper door and the lower door.
HINGE BRACKET
A hinge bracket assembly includes an anchor plate. A retention member extends perpendicular to the anchor plate. The anchor plate defines a first receiving aperture. A hinge plate is aligned with the anchor plate and includes a hinge arm and a protrusion. The protrusion extends from an edge of the hinge plate opposite the hinge arm. The hinge plate defines a second receiving aperture aligned with the first receiving aperture when the protrusion is received by a space defined by the retention member. A locking arm is rotatable between an unlocked position and a locked position and is configured to be at least partially received by the first and second receiving apertures to couple the anchor plate and the hinge plate.
CABINET REINFORCING ASSEMBLY
A cabinet of an appliance includes an outer wrapper defining opposing first and second sidewalls, a rear wall coupling the first and second sidewalls and an access opening and an inner liner defining an interior. The outer wrapper and the inner liner may define a sealed insulating cavity therebetween that is under vacuum. A plurality of reinforcement brackets may be disposed on the outer wrapper. The plurality of reinforcement brackets are configured to prevent deformation of the cabinet during application of the vacuum to the insulating cavity.
Electrical apparatus
An electrical apparatus comprises a main body, a pivotal part pivotally connected to the main body, a first coil mounted on the main body, and a second coil mounted on the pivotal part. The first coil at least partly passes through the second coil to form an electromagnetic coupling between the first coil and the second coil that wirelessly supplies power between the main body and the pivotal part.
Refrigerator with a selective icemaker/dispenser water distrubution
Disclosed is a refrigerator. The present invention provides a refrigerator having a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment, the refrigerator including an icemaker provided to the freezer compartment or a freezer compartment door configured to open/close the freezer compartment, a dispenser provided to a refrigerator compartment door configured to open/close the refrigerator compartment, a water tank provided to the refrigerator compartment door, the water tank having an inlet for putting in water and an outlet for supplying water to the dispenser, a pump configured to send the water supplied from the water tank to the icemaker, and a slide cap movably provided to the water tank so as to be selectively coupled to a passage connected to the pump.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes: a cabinet; an upper door; a lower door that is a drawer type door; a draw-out rail that connects the lower door to a storage space in the cabinet and that guides insertion and withdrawal of the lower door in a front-rear direction; an elevation assembly that is located in the lower door, that elevates an object stored in the lower door in a state in which the lower door is withdrawn, and that elevates the object relative to the lower door; and a door restriction device configured to selectively restrict an opening movement of the upper door based on whether the lower door is opened or closed. The door restriction device is configured to restrict the opening movement of the upper door based on the lower door being opened, and to allow the opening movement of the upper door based on the lower door being closed.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a first door located in front of the cabinet, a second door located in front of the first door, an electrical member located at the second door, and a transmission line connected to the electrical member. The transmission line extends from the cabinet into the first door and extends from the first door toward the second door.
