COLLAPSIBLE PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINER

A shipping container includes an insulated base, an upper perimeter portion including one or more securing mechanisms, insulated side panels, and an insulated lid. Each of the insulated side panels is movable between a respective first position and a respective second position, wherein the shipping container is in the first configuration when all of the insulated side panels are in the first positions and collapses into the second configuration when all of the side panels are in the second positions. The insulated lid is removably attachable for selectively closing and accessing an internal storage volume. Each of the securing mechanisms is configured to removably secure the upper perimeter portion to the insulated base when the shipping container is in the second configuration. Each of the securing mechanisms is also configured to removably secure the insulated lid to the upper perimeter portion in both the first and the second configurations.

A reusable, substantially airtight, and insulated container system, assembly and method include detachable assembled top, side, and bottom panels to enclose a plurality of pallets of chilled, perishable products for transport. The top panel includes a plurality of pouches positioned within horizontal chambers within the inside top panel surface. Hook and loop closures secure and seal the panel assemblies. Thermoplastic polyurethane nylon fabric panel inner and outer surfaces are bonded to an internal insulation layer with thermal-welded edges. The system, assembly, and method include internal temperature control elements for a real time thermostatically controlled container environment of circulating chilled air protecting perishable products housed within the cover assembly during transport. An embodiment of the cover assembly is configured to a standard LD-7 air transport container base pallet, providing a thermostatically controlled container environment of approximately 745 cubic feet. The assembled top, side, and bottom panels are collapsible for easy storage and transport when not in use.

Electricity free portable evaporative cooling device

An evaporative cooling device including a combination of insulative surfaces and evaporative surfaces that may hold and cool contents with walls that are made of semipermeable materials. The evaporative surfaces store and facilitate the evaporation of a liquid to cool the interior of the evaporative cooling device while the insulative surfaces limit heat transfer in or out of the evaporative cooling device from air, sunlight or the ground. The evaporative cooling device is further capable of holding a variety of products at a temperature below ambient environmental temperature, assuming less than 100% humidity. Moreover, the evaporative cooling device may be designed to be lightweight and collapsible for easy transport and storage.

A portable insulated storage container includes an insulated body having an internal cavity for storing one or more items and an insulated lid. The insulated body includes a base, first and second opposing end panels, and first and second opposing side panels. The first and second opposing end panels are each configured to move between a first vertical orientation and a second horizontal orientation. Each of the first and second opposing side panels includes an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a hinge. The insulated lid configured to engage the insulated body to close the internal cavity.
