Transformable cargo containers
Transformable cargo containers for use with ground and air transportation vehicles are presented herein. A cargo container includes a main container body defining a storage chamber. The cargo container also includes a transformable assembly coupled to the main container body and positioned at an exterior of the main container body. The transformable assembly includes one or more supplemental containers and is movable between an aircraft configuration and a ground configuration. Based on the transformable assembly being in the aircraft configuration, the transformable cargo container has a non-rectangular cross-sectional area and is configured to occupy a partially-radial cross-sectional storage area of a fuselage of an aircraft. And based on the transformable assembly being in the ground configuration, the transformable cargo container is configured to occupy a rectangular cross-sectional storage area on a ground transportation vehicle.
COLLAPSIBLE INSULATED CONTAINER
A collapsible insulated container has a base wall and a peripheral wall with an open end defining an enclosure. The peripheral wall has at least two layers and is divided into elongate pockets between the layers, with foldable crease lines between adjacent pockets. Each pocket contains a flexible-walled, insulating gel pack which substantially fills the pocket. The crease lines may be defined by stitching securing the outer and inner layers of the container together. The gel packs may be surrounded by matting, foam or mesh material which is sewn into the lines of stitching, or may have integral peripheral rims sewn into the lines of stitching. The container is foldable between an erect, open condition and a storage condition in which it is folded along the crease lines into a substantially flattened package.
PORTABLE COOLER
A portable cooler is provided that includes a base that supports a refrigeration unit. The base also supports a plurality of upwardly-extending support poles that accommodate a top portion. The support poles, top portion, and base define a food storage volume that is surrounded by a plurality of insulative walls.
Apparatus comprising sealed container for dry ice and transport container structure
There is provided improved utilisation of the cooling capacity in dry ice. An apparatus comprises at least one sealed container for dry ice enclosed within another sealed container, wherein the at least one sealed container for dry ice is operatively connected to a storage container for cooling the storage container to a target temperature or to a target temperature range by sublimed dry ice from the at least one sealed container for dry ice, and the at least one sealed container for dry ice is operatively connected to said another sealed container for conducting sublimed dry ice from the at least one sealed container for dry ice to said another sealed container, when the target temperature of the storage container is met.
Thermally insulated shipping container
A thermally insulated shipping container comprises an inner structure including an inner base, a front inner wall, a rear inner wall opposed to the front inner wall, a pair of opposed side inner walls each extending between the front and rear inner walls and an inner lid; an outer structure including an outer base, a front outer wall, a rear outer wall opposed to the front inner wall, two side outer walls each extending between the front and rear outer walls and an outer lid; and a cavity extending at least between the inner and outer walls, the cavity being arranged to receive a plurality of cool packs; wherein the container, when empty, is arranged to be transported disassembled in a flat packed state prior to being assembled for use.
Modular cuboidal passive temperature controlled shipping container
A kit including a plurality of separate and distinct identically sized phase change material-containing panels shaped as a frustum of a right pyramid, a method of assembling a thermal insulating enclosure from such panels and the resultant assembled thermal insulting enclosure.
REFRIGERATION APPARATUS
A refrigeration apparatus (10) is configured to be shipped in generally flat boxes and assembled near a location of use. A plurality of enclosure panels (12) bound an interior area (15). A cover panel (18) including a door (22) closes a top of the interior area. A platform panel (30) including an evaporator (32) closes the interior area at an end opposed of the cover panel. The platform which includes heat transfer components is supported on a base (52) with casters (60) that facilitate the movement of the apparatus.
Portable cooler
The present invention includes a portable, snap-together cooler and methods for providing a portable, snap-together cooler. The cooler may include six panels, wherein each of the panels includes connector elements that snap onto other connector elements to assemble the cooler. Each of the six panels may include attachment elements that may be used to secure each of the panels onto at least one other panel when the panels are stacked.
