The system includes a removable pitcher defining an interior portion, a dispenser defining a cavity within the chilled chamber to receive the pitcher and including a fill tube for directing water from a water supply into the interior portion of the pitcher, an electrically operated sensor configured to detect an operational status of the system and generate a signal associated with the detected operational status, and a controller electrically coupled to the sensor. The controller is configured to determine when the autofill pitcher dispensing system is experiencing a leaking condition based on the generated signal.

A refrigerator having an inner door including an opening between the front and rear surfaces of the inner door, first and second opening side surfaces, and a dike protruding from the rear surface of the inner door and including first and second dike inner surfaces; an outer door on the front of the inner door to open to access the opening; and a water supply unit including a water supply case, an outlet to supply water to a detachable water bucket when the water bucket is installed in the water supply case, and a water level sensor to detect a water level of the water bucket. The rear surface of the inner door includes a spacing portion between the second dike inner surface and the second opening side surface, and the water supply unit is installed on the dike with a portion positioned behind the spacing portion.
Autofill pitcher with fill sensor
An autofill pitcher system includes a pitcher and a dispenser. The pitcher includes at least one pitcher wall and an internal volume defined within the at least one pitcher wall. The dispenser defines a cavity. The cavity is configured to receive the pitcher. The dispenser also includes a fill tube and a sensor. The fill tube is positioned and configured to direct a flow of water from a water supply into the internal volume of the pitcher when the pitcher is received within the cavity. The sensor is positioned above the cavity and is operable to detect a fill level within the internal volume of the pitcher.
Autofill pitcher with additive
An autofill pitcher system includes a pitcher and a dispenser. The pitcher includes at least one pitcher wall and an internal volume defined within the at least one pitcher wall. The dispenser defines a cavity. The cavity is configured to receive the pitcher. The dispenser also includes a fill tube and a pod receiver. The fill tube is positioned and configured to direct a flow of water from a water supply into the internal volume of the pitcher when the pitcher is received within the cavity. The pod receiver is configured to hold a pod containing an additive. The pod receiver is in fluid communication with the internal volume of the pitcher whereby the dispenser is configured to provide the additive to the internal volume of the pitcher.

A refrigerator includes a box body, inner container of which defines a storage compartment therein; and a water storage device arranged in the storage compartment and comprising a pot body and a pot lid; the port body being configured to store water; the pot lid being arranged at the top of the pot body and configured to open and close the pot body; wherein the pot lid and the inner container detachably connected with each other. According to the refrigerator, the water storage device only takes up a small space inside the refrigerator and has no impact on a door body of the refrigerator. Meanwhile, the pot lid is detachably connected with the inner container, such that the water storage device not in need can be wholly removed from the refrigerator, which enlarges the internal space of the refrigerator.

The water supply device includes: a water supply case comprising a bucket installation space; a water level sensor configured to detect a water level of a water bucket in the bucket installation space; a first water supply port configured to supply water to the water bucket based on the water level of the water bucket that is detected by the water level sensor; a lever in the water supply case and configured to be manually operable; and a second water supply port configured to supply water based on operation of the lever by a user.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH POWERED PITCHER
A pitcher for a refrigerator appliance is provided. The refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet defining a fresh food chamber. The pitcher includes at least one pitcher wall and an internal volume defined within the at least one pitcher wall. The pitcher is configured to be received in a cavity defined in the fresh food chamber. The pitcher also includes a detachable electrical connector configured to connect between the pitcher and the cavity.
