The method includes identifying a food item, such as in response to a user input. The method also includes retrieving optimal or preferred storage conditions for the identified food item. The method may include modifying the conditions of a selected food storage compartment and/or providing instructions to modify the conditions of the selected food storage compartment.

Furthermore, the user interface or method may provide for transmitting, based on the second-icon selection signal, an immediate illumination signal directing increased illumination of the second menu icon; and directing, based on the second-icon selection signal, a gradual brightness reduction of the first menu icon from the operational brightness level.

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display device and a display apparatus, the display device includes: a transparent structure and a display screen; the transparent structure including a first light transmission plate and a second light transmission plate which are oppositely set, edge regions of the first light transmission plate and the second light transmission plate being packaged by a seal assembly, to form a closed cavity; the display screen being set within the closed cavity, and an edge of the display screen being fixed to an inner wall of the closed cavity; the closed cavity being filled with inert gas.

A refrigerator including a sliding plate provided to be slidably moveable and couplable to a front surface of the door, a cover display provided to be rotatable and supported on the sliding plate, a display to which the cover display is couplable to be rotated together with the cover display, a plurality of rotation limitation parts provided to define a rotation range of the cover display, and a release screw provided to allow at least one of the plurality of rotation limitation parts to be adjusted to thereby release a rotation limitation of the defined rotation range of the cover display. As the cover display is being rotated beyond the defined rotation range as the rotation limitation of the cover display is released, the cover display is separated from the sliding plate together with the display and the cover display is no longer supported by the sliding plate.

A transport refrigeration unit system (26) for cooling a trailer compartment (24) is provided. The transport refrigeration unit system (26) includes an engine for controlling a cooling rate capacity, the engine operable at a nominal high speed and a nominal low speed. Also included is a controller (50) in operative communication with the engine to control an engine speed of the engine. Further included is a user interface (52) in operative communication with the controller (50), the user interface (52) providing a high capacity cooling mode to a user, wherein initiation of the high capacity cooling mode includes the engine operating at a speed greater than the nominal high speed to result in a high capacity cooling rate.
