The present technology is applicable to, for example, a device that makes up a food information management system.

Provided is a method of setting a system, the method being performed by a processor and including: (a) when receiving detection, by the sensor, of a first amount of goods equal to or larger than a first predetermined amount, displaying, on a display, a first screen prompting setting of a threshold amount of goods corresponding to a condition of trigger output; (b) when the sensor detects reduction of an amount of goods by at least a second predetermined amount after displaying the first screen, acquiring, as the threshold amount, a second amount of reduced goods; (c) after the threshold amount is acquired, displaying, on the display, a second screen for setting an action of the processing device; and (d) based on information on the action set after displaying the second screen, setting output contents to be output by the processing device upon satisfaction of the condition of trigger output.

A method for controlling and managing a front door refrigerator using an application installed in a recording medium, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step in which a user logs into a front door refrigerator control application installed in a recording medium including a mobile device, thereby allowing a main screen including menu display regions to be displayed on a display unit of the mobile device; and a step in which a storage information confirmation menu is selected from among a plurality of execution menus displayed in the menu display regions, wherein, when the storage information confirmation menu is selected, storage information of a product stored in the front door refrigerator is output to the display unit of the mobile device.

Dispensing system with temperature controlled drawers
A drawer includes insulation defining a climate-controlled insulated interior of the drawer, and a refrigeration system. The interior of the drawer may be divided into compartments having lids, and actuators may be provided for unlocking the lids. The actuators may include solenoids, which may be disposed outside the climate-controlled interior of the drawer. The drawer may include an air inlet, an outlet, and a fan. The fan may draw air through an air flow path defined at least in part by the insulation.

A refrigerator including a main body including a storage room, a door coupled to the main body and rotatable in front of a side of the storage room, and including a display on a front surface of the door, a camera disposed to capture the storage room, and a processor configured to acquire an augmented-reality object corresponding to a food included in an image captured by the camera using a trained artificial intelligence model, to control the display to display the acquired augmented-reality object and the captured image as being overlapped with each other, and based on a user input being acquired while the acquired augmented-reality object is displayed, to provide a response to the user input based on the acquired augmented-reality object. The refrigerator can utilize an artificial intelligence model trained according to at least one of machine learning, neural network or deep learning algorithm.

A refrigerator for a front door according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a cabinet installed on a door or a wall surface, having an opening formed on one surface and another surface, respectively, and having a storage chamber formed therein; an exterior side door coupled to the cabinet for opening and closing the opening formed on the one surface of the cabinet; an interior side door coupled to the cabinet for opening and closing the opening formed on the other surface of the cabinet; and a cold air supply device provided inside the cabinet for supplying cold air to the storage chamber.
The cold air supply device may comprise: a thermoelectric element having an endothermic surface facing the storage chamber and an exothermic surface facing a heat dissipation space; a cold sink attached to the endothermic surface; a heat sink attached to the exothermic surface; a module heat-insulating material for surrounding the thermoelectric element between the cold sink and the heat sink; a cold air circulation fan disposed on the upper side of the cold sink; and a heat dissipation fan disposed on the lower side of the heat sink.

The heat insulation member is provided inside the outer contour member or as at least a part of the outer contour member, contains an aero gel, a xerogel, or a cryogel, and overlaps the internal part when the refrigerator is seen in a front view.

A refrigerator appliance may include a cabinet, a door, a scanner module, and a controller operably coupled to the scanner module. The operation routine may include initiating a scan sequence at the scanner module, identifying a barcode capture for a product barcode of a stored item based on the scan sequence, processing barcode data for the barcode capture according to one or more predetermined user preferences, establishing an item identifier based on the processed barcode data, and directing an update to a user list with the established item identifier.
