Door end closure assembly with integrated user interface
A refrigeration appliance includes a compartment for storing food items in a refrigerated environment, and a door for engaging with an appliance body and selectively closing the compartment. The door has a front panel, a rear panel, and a door end closure assembly providing an end of the door. The closure assembly includes an endcap extending between the front panel and the rear panel and a user interface engaged with the endcap. The user interface is configured to allow control of or to provide feedback regarding one or more aspects of the appliance to the user. The endcap defines at least a portion of a handle gap configured to receive at least a portion of a user's hand to allow for selective opening of the compartment, and an interface cavity for receiving the user interface. The interface cavity is separated from the handle gap and closed by the user interface.
Refrigerating Device for a Recreational Vehicle
The present invention is intended to provide a refrigerating device for a recreational vehicle, comprising a refrigerating chamber, which is defined by side walls, an upper wall and a lower wall and a front opening, the refrigerating device further comprising a door which is configured to allow sealing of the front opening and to allow accessing the refrigerating chamber via the front opening, an input panel comprising a display, an input knob and a processing unit. The display depicts a plurality of items which correspond to a plurality of executable input methods to be triggered by a user via actuation of the input knob.
REFRIGERATOR
A method to control a refrigerator includes changing a transparent display assembly to be in a first or transparent state allowing an inner space of the refrigerator to be visible through the transparent assembly, a second or opaque state so as to conceal the inner space, and a third or a display state to display information on a display of the transparent assembly. The transparent display assembly includes a front panel, a rear panel, an outer spacer configured to maintain a first distance between the front panel and the rear panel, a display provided on a rear surface of the front panel, a light guide plate spaced apart from the display, and a first spacer configured to support the light guide plate and to maintain a second distance between the display and the light guide plate.

REFRIGERATOR MANAGEMENT METHOD, REFRIGERATOR MANAGEMENT DEVICE, REFRIGERATOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND TEMPERATURE CALCULATION METHOD
A refrigerator management method according to one aspect of the present invention includes: obtaining log information including temperature information indicating an interior temperature of a refrigerator and opened and closed information indicating whether or not a door of the refrigerator has been opened and closed; calculating, based on the log information, a timewise change in the interior temperature for when the door is opened and closed in a predetermined period and for when the door is not opened and closed in the predetermined period; and outputting result information indicating a calculation result calculated in the calculating.
Touch window for touch sensor and home appliance having same
A touch window for a touch sensor includes: a touch member having a front surface and a rear surface, the front surface configured to be pressed by a user, a plurality of conductive printed portions printed on the rear surface of the touch member, the conductive printed portions being configured to respectively contact a plurality of conductive electrodes of the touch sensor, and a non-conductive film attached to the rear surface of the touch member and defining one or more through-holes. Inner surfaces of the one or more through-holes are configured to respectively surround the conductive printed portions and the conductive printed portions and the non-conductive film have different thicknesses from each other such that surface condensation on the conductive printed portions and surface condensation on the non-conductive film are spaced apart from each other.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE HAVING A MOVABLE CAMERA
A refrigerator appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a door, and a camera module. The cabinet may define a chilled chamber. The door may be rotatably hinged to the cabinet to provide selective access to the chilled chamber. The camera module may be movably mounted to the cabinet (e.g., above a support shelf). The camera module may be movable on the cabinet along a predefined direction between a retracted position proximal to a first end of the cabinet and an extended position proximal to a second end of the cabinet. The camera module may be directed at the chilled chamber in the extended position to capture an image thereof.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a door configured to open/close the cabinet, an outer plate defining a front surface of the door and having an opening formed therein to pass through the door, a door liner defining a rear surface of the door, lighting members configured to illuminate storage spaces of the door and the cabinet, a transparent panel assembly mounted to shield the opening and allowing the storage spaces to be selectively seen according to an ON/OFF state of the lighting members, an insulator filled between the outer plate and the door liner, and a blocking part arranged inside the door along a periphery of the transparent panel assembly and detachably coupled to a peripheral surface of the transparent panel assembly to fix the transparent panel assembly.
