The upper cap decoration unit includes a communication hole for communicating with the second space and includes a cap cover.
Water prefilling assembly for use in a refrigerating appliance
A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.
Smart Refrigerator
The present disclosure illustrates a smart refrigerator including a user interface, a recipe management module, a storage management module and an order management module. The user interface is configured to input an ordering instruction. The recipe management module stores much recipe information recording information of ingredients required. The user can select at least one of the recipe information. The storage management module is configured to input and store the ingredient information. The order management module is configured to receive and store order information. The recipe management module transmits the selected recipe information to the storage management module, and the storage management module compares the received recipe information and the information of ingredient stored in the refrigerator, so as to generate the order information. When the ordering instruction is inputted into the user interface, the order management module transmits the order information to a cloud server. The smart refrigerator of the present disclosure has advantage of providing the user to more conveniently manage the ingredients stored in the refrigerator, and further providing functions of analyzing recipe and ordering ingredient online.
Refrigerator Appliance and a Method for Operating a Refrigerator Appliance
A method for operating a refrigerator appliance includes receiving a user inquiry signal at a controller of the refrigerator appliance in response to an inquiry input at a user interface of the refrigerator appliance, obtaining a status of at least one operable component of the refrigerator appliance with the controller of the refrigerator appliance, and sending the status of the at least one operable component of the refrigerator appliance from the controller of the refrigerator appliance to the user interface of the refrigerator appliance. A related refrigerator appliance is provided.
HOUSEHOLD DEVICE HAVING AN INPUT MEANS LOCKING DEVICE
A household device, in particular a refrigeration device, includes an electronic control device configured to control at least one function of the household device, an input device connected to the control device, having at least one input and being configured to supply an assigned control signal to the control device, based on a manual actuation of the at least one input. An input locking device, in its locked state, is configured to prevent controlling of the function of the household device, despite the at least one input being actuated, and in its unlocked state, is configured to permit controlling of the function of the household device when the at least one input is actuated. The input locking device is configured and/or constructed for shifting the input locking device into the locked state, after the at least one input has not been actuated over a predefined time period.
REMOTE FOOD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A remote food management system includes a smart refrigerator, a food ingredients identification device and a smart phone. The smart refrigerator is used for storing at least one food ingredient. The food-ingredient identifying device is used for capturing a food-ingredient image with respect to the food ingredient. The circuit module analyzes the food-ingredient image to produce a plurality of food-ingredient information and at least one freshness parameter, and further calculates an expiration date for the food ingredient. Then, the circuit module establishes a list of food ingredients according to the expiration date. The smart phone is connected to the food-ingredient identifying device so as to read and show the list.
Consumer Appliance with a Detachable Tablet
A tablet for use with a consumer appliance is provided. The tablet may be removably attachable to the consumer appliance, which may charge the tablet through an integrated USB charger. The tablet may be in wired or wireless communication with the appliance and/or a remote server. In this manner, the tablet may provide the user with timely information related to operation of the consumer appliance or directly from the internet.
OPERATING MECHANISM FOR A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE HAVING AN OPERATING ELEMENT AND A DISPLAY AREA CONFIGURED IN THE OPERATING ELEMENT
An operating mechanism for a household appliance includes a rotatable operating element having a display area, and a first display panel configured touch-sensitive and having display areas associated with at least two different functions of the household appliance to enable a user to select one of the functions by touching a corresponding one of the display areas of the display panel. The selected function is defined by a parameter. A display in the display area of the operating element is coupled to the selected function displayed in the corresponding one of the display areas of the display panel, so that the operating element, when actuated, is able to change the parameter of the selected function to thereby set a parameter value which is displayed in the display area of the operating element.
REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
A refrigerator includes a water tank which stores water, a carbon dioxide cylinder which stores carbon dioxide, a dispenser module which accommodates an external container and supplies the carbon dioxide and the water to the external container, and a controller which supplies the water to the external container and supplies the carbon dioxide to the external container when supplying the water is completed.
CLOTHING AND FABRIC STORAGE DEVICE
