SELF-SEALING BALLOON AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A self-sealing balloon comprising a tubular balloon neck segment extending from an opening of a balloon gas retaining expansion cavity. A bead of moldable adhesive material is applied in a ring about an interior circumference of a neck portion of the balloon forming a dispensed adhesive roll. The dispensed adhesive roll is at least partially encapsulated within an adhesive staging segment. The adhesive staging segment can be encased within a rolled lip bead by any suitable process. The rolling process aids in forming the ring-shaped adhesive. In use, the balloon would be inflated. The lip bead would be unrolled, exposing the adhesive ring. The moldable adhesive would be compressed forming a seal, entrapping pressurized air within the balloon gas retaining expansion cavity. This provides a low cost, simple self-sealing solution for a balloon.
Kit for providing a colorable balloon
The current invention provides a kit of playing materials. The kit includes an inflatable foil, which is suitable for receiving and containing a gas and for forming a balloon. The foil has a colorable area, which covers the foil at least partially. The kit also includes a set of wax-based coloring agents, which can be applied directly onto the foil. Due to the light-weight properties of the foil, the balloon is floating in the air when filled with helium. In a second aspect, the present invention provides a method for providing one or more colorable balloons.
INFLATABLE TOY AND INFLATION DEVICE
An inflatable toy pellet can include a body. The body can be configured to be selectively punctured by a needle. The body can be sized and shaped so as to be grasped by an inflation device when punctured by the needle so as to expand the body from a first configuration to a second configuration.
ROOM INSTALLATION INCLUDING ROOM AND MIRRORED BALLOONS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM
A room installation including: a room having at least one wall, a ceiling, and a floor, each of which is at least partially covered by a mirrored surface; at least one transparent window to permit ambient light into the room; and a first plurality of mirrored balloons arranged within the room, and filled with a mixture of helium and another gas, the mixture configured to float the balloons of the first plurality of balloons substantially within a middle height of the room; and a plurality of vents to circulate and move the balloons of the first plurality of balloons in a designated pattern within the room.
Pole coupling balloon system
The invention includes methods and apparatus for bisected and/or partially bisected helium-free balloons that may be secured over an extended stationary structure such as an extended pole and/or lamp-post such that the secured balloon gives the appearance of being whole or un-bisected. Some embodiments may include an continuous and/or continuous air-fed balloon system. Additional embodiments include improved methods for elevating and/or coupling a bisected and/or partially bisected helium-free balloon an extended stationary structure such as an extended pole and/or lamp-post.
Balloon
A balloon can maintain a bent state even if a bent state-holding member is not used. A balloon includes two plastic films that are stacked and sealed at a peripheral edge. The balloon includes a first part, a second part, and a bending part that is situated between the first part and the second part. The bending part includes a gas passage through which the interior of the first part and the interior of the second part communicate with each other, and a bending sealed part that is formed by sealing the two plastic films situated opposite to each other in an inward area relative to the peripheral edge. An outer edge of the bending sealed part extends beyond the bending part so as to be situated within the first part and the second part.
SYSTEM FOR PRINTING ON BALLOONS
The present invention provides a system for printing on balloons where the priming of the balloons to receive print is substantially free of bubbles, the system comprising locally applying to a balloon external surface or to a balloon precursor sheet in a defined, limited area one of: a) a pre-shaped self adhesive label comprising a layer of primer that is adhesive-backed; b) a coating of primer that will be formed into the external surface area of a balloon wherein the remaining external surface area of the balloon is coated with a primer repellent material; c) a coating of primer by a silk screen process wherein the applied primer is subjected to a partial vacuum to draw air out from the coating and/or is subjected to the action of a roller or scraper that is held or pressed lightly against the coating to squeeze air from the coating.
UNIVERSAL AIR HANDLER UNIT
A universal air handler unit includes a blower and evaporator juxtaposed one another within a compact, weather resistant cabinet adapted for outdoor installation. Ports for cool and return air ducts disposed on one side of the cabinet couple directly to the blower and evaporator respectively. Return air drawn by the blower into the cabinet passes across the evaporator core, then through the blower and back out through the adjacent cool air duct. Coolant lines couple to a stand-alone condenser/compressor unit. In a particular embodiment, an adapter enables stacking the condenser/compressor unit atop the cabinet to reduce the overall footprint of the combination. In another embodiment, a manifold adapted to couple to the cool and return air ducts may be installed in various locations, the air handler unit slideably coupling to the manifold during installation, and easily decoupling and reecoupling for transportation and maintenance.
BALLOON WITH PLASTIC CONTAINER BASE
A balloon including an inflatable body operatively attached to a base on a proximal side, the base including a cavity for filling with items, wherein the inflatable body is inflated by an air vent or a fan operatively attached to the base. A method of using the balloon, by placing the balloon at a display location, flowing air through the inflatable body, inflating the inflatable body, and providing access to items within the cavity. Reversible packaging including a packaging body having a first design on a first side and a second design on a second side. A method of using reversible packaging, by a user purchasing a product contained within reversible packaging showing a first design, the user removing the reversible packaging and reversing the reversible packaging to show a second design, and the user securing the reversible packaging around the product showing the second design.
