The invention includes methods and apparatus for bisected and/or partially bisected helium-free balloons that may be secured over an extended stationary structure such as an extended pole and/or lamp-post such that the secured balloon gives the appearance of being whole or un-bisected. Some embodiments may include an continuous and/or continuous air-fed balloon system. Additional embodiments include improved methods for elevating and/or coupling a bisected and/or partially bisected helium-free balloon an extended stationary structure such as an extended pole and/or lamp-post.

Balloon

A balloon can maintain a bent state even if a bent state-holding member is not used. A balloon includes two plastic films that are stacked and sealed at a peripheral edge. The balloon includes a first part, a second part, and a bending part that is situated between the first part and the second part. The bending part includes a gas passage through which the interior of the first part and the interior of the second part communicate with each other, and a bending sealed part that is formed by sealing the two plastic films situated opposite to each other in an inward area relative to the peripheral edge. An outer edge of the bending sealed part extends beyond the bending part so as to be situated within the first part and the second part.

Inflatable ornament apparatus

An inflatable globe has a generally round shape and an attachment pin, plug or other closure mechanism coupled to the top of the inflatable globe. A topper is configured to fit over the attachment pin, plug or other closure mechanism. A hanger is threaded through the attachment pin, plug or closure mechanism and then through the topper. An electric light coupled to the plug is suspended inside the globe. The inflatable globe is made of a resilient polymer material and can be monochromatic or comprise a plurality of colors.

After the balloon is inflated, the neck is twisted to form multiple tight spirals whose flexibility and pressure prevents air leakage, and the neck is tied into a loose single knot. The base has a first through hole and a second through hole arranged radially away from the base's center. A slit is provided connecting the first and second through holes that is selectively and flexibly opened. After the single knot is run through the first through hole, the neck is plugged into the second through hole through the slit. Four or more rubber balloons can be attached to the base and multiple bases can be coupled and arranged to decorate events. After the event, the single knot can be undone, allowing the balloon to deflate and be stored for repeated use.
