Apparatus and method for improved evaporation drying
The present invention provides an apparatus 100 for drying a substance 190, the apparatus 100 comprising at least one roller 121 rotatable about a central axis; a first belt 112 having a first side 112 and a second side 112, the first side 112 of the first belt 112 adapted to receive the substance 190; and a plurality of heat induction elements 123 arranged to induce heat in the first belt 112 to heat the substance 190, where in operation, the first belt 112 urges via its first side 112, the substance 190 towards a portion of an exterior circumferential surface of the roller 121, and the substance 190 is heated to remove fluids from the substance 190.
Drying apparatus
A drying apparatus includes an oven body, a magnetic field generating device, a chamber pressure controlling device and a baking device. The oven body is provided with a chamber which is air-hermetic for receiving a semiconductor package element. The chamber pressure controlling device reduces a chamber pressure of the chamber. The magnetic field generating device polarizes liquid on the semiconductor package element in the chamber. The baking device evaporates the liquid on the semiconductor package in the chamber.
Appliance for drying articles
An RF laundry dryer includes, amongst other things, an RF generator, an RF applicator having a perforated body supporting anode and cathode elements, a fan arranged relative to the perforated body to flow or draw air through the perforated body and an electromagnetic shield protecting the fan from the e-field. Both anode and cathode elements are operably coupled to the RF generator to generate an e-field between the anode and cathode upon the energizing of the RF generator.
Thermal desorption system and method for oil-contaminated soil and gravel using microwave indirect irradiation
Disclosed are a thermal desorption system for oil-contaminated soil and gravel, using a microwave indirect irradiation method and including a microwave emission prevention device and a preheating device using waste heat, and a thermal desorption method for oil-contaminated soil and gravel, using the same. In addition, it is disclosed that an outer tube encompassing an inner tube extends to both sides and a plurality of ring-shaped microwave attenuation units are arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube, such that microwaves are prevented from leaking between the inner tube and the outer tube, thereby enabling eco-friendliness, and even the waste heat generated during a pollutant desorption process is utilized in the system itself, thereby enabling economic feasibility to increase further.
DIELECTRIC DRYING METHOD AND DIELECTRIC DRYING DEVICE FOR CERAMIC FORMED BODIES, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC STRUCTURES
A dielectric drying method for ceramic formed bodies includes drying a plurality of ceramic formed bodies placed side by side in an arrangement direction Y perpendicular to a conveying direction X on an upper surface of a drying table by conveying the ceramic formed bodies between electrodes of an upper electrode and a lower electrode, and applying a high frequency between the electrodes. The drying table is conveyed by a conveyor having at least one conveyor belt for supporting a portion of the drying table in the arrangement direction Y. At least one electric field adjusting member is arranged below the drying table that is not supported by the conveyor belt.
Plant and method for drying and solid state polycondensing of polymeric material
A plant for drying and solid state polycondensing a granular moisture-containing polymeric material includes a conduit feeding material to be treated longitudinally, a treatment zone located along the conduit, a blower of an inert gas into the conduit, and a radiating device emitting an alternating electromagnetic field in the radio-frequency band to dry and upgrade the material. The radiating device includes applicators, located at the treatment zone and external to the conduit in longitudinally offset positions, which are connected to the terminals of an electromagnetic wave generator and include pairs of opposed radiating elements that generate an alternating electromagnetic field in the conduit, with field lines at least partially parallel to the direction of feed of the material, and that define magnetic dipoles with opposite polarities along the conduit. A method of drying and solid state polycondensing a polymeric material in granular form obtained by polycondensation using the plant.
Hybrid RF/conventional clothes dryer
The present invention encompasses methods and apparati for heating a load (9) such as clothes immersed in a medium (such as water) during a heating period. A method embodiment of the present invention comprises heating the load (9) and medium within an enclosure (10) by subjecting said load (9) and medium to heated air (104) originated from a conventional energy source (1); and applying heat to said load (9) and medium within the enclosure (10) via an AC electrical field, embodied as a capacitor, originated from an RF power source (2).
90 degree adjustable close elbow
A 90 degree adjustable elbow connector for a dryer exhaust assembly, including first and second body halves having concave inner surfaces and convex outer surfaces which are connected together to collectively form a hollow, tubular elbow body defining a channel therebetween. The elbow body has a first open end and an opposite second open end disposed 90 degrees to said first open end. A ring-shaped first collar is rotatably connected to the first end of the elbow body to permit 360 degree rotation relative to the elbow body. The first collar is configured and dimensioned to connect to a dryer exhaust vent. A ring-shaped second collar is rotatably connected to the second end of the elbow body to permit 360 degree rotation relative to the elbow body. The second collar is configured and dimensioned to connect to a dryer exhaust duct.
Method and device for freeze-drying drug liposomes powder assisted by variable-frequency alternating-current electric field
The present invention discloses a method for freeze-drying drug liposomes powder assisted by a variable-frequency alternating-current electric field, which includes the following steps: (1) preparing a drug-liposome suspension sample; (2) dehydrating the sample under a 1-10 kHz, 3-10 kV high-voltage alternating current; (3) freezing and drying the sample treated in step (2) at 20 C. to 40 C., under a 10-25 kHz, 0.2-1 kV high-voltage alternating current, until completion of the freezing process; and (4) heating and drying the sample in a vacuum until completion of sublimation and desorption, and obtaining the drug liposomes freeze-dried powder. The present invention not only greatly shortens a freezing and drying time, but also controls a size of nuclei and ice crystals, further ensuring a quality of the freeze-dried powder.
