Device and method for operating a rotary vessel
A method and a system for operating a rotary vessel, rotated by a tire riding on trunnions, which monitors the position of the tire relative to the upper and lower thrust bearings and the temperature of the upper and lower thrust bearings and provides an output that alerts an operator when corrective action should be taken.
CENTRIFUGAL DRYING METHOD AND CENTRIFUGAL DRYER
Provided is a centrifugal drying method for a workpiece having a plurality of blind holes. The centrifugal drying method includes: installing the workpiece to a turntable in a first posture in which an opening of a first blind hole among the plurality of the blind holes faces downward; and rotating the workpiece in the first posture about a rotation axis extending in a vertical direction together with the turntable.
Circular economy for plastic waste to polypropylene and lubricating oil via refinery FCC and isomerization dewaxing units
A continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polypropylene polymerization is provided. The process integrates refinery operations to provide an effective and efficient recycle process. The process comprises selecting waste plastics containing polyethylene and polypropylene and then passing the waste plastics through a pyrolysis reactor to thermally crack at least a portion of the polyolefin waste and produce a pyrolyzed effluent. The pyrolyzed effluent is separated into offgas, a naphtha/diesel fraction, a heavy fraction, and char. The naphtha/diesel fraction is passed to a refinery FCC unit, from which is recovered a liquid petroleum gas C.sub.3 olefin/paraffin mixture. The C.sub.3 paraffins and C.sub.3 olefins are separated into different fractions with a propane/propylene splitter. The C.sub.3 olefin fraction is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The C.sub.3 paraffin fraction is optionally passed to a dehydrogenation unit to produce additional propylene and then the resulting C.sub.3 olefin is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The heavy fraction of pyrolyzed oil is passed to an isomerization dewaxing unit to produce a lubricating base oil.
FREEZE-DRYING DEVICE
A freeze-drying device includes an evaporation chamber that is mounted so as to be rotated on a shaft, a condensation chamber in communication with the evaporation chamber, and a product inlet and a product outlet which are connected to the evaporation chamber by first flexible connectors. The product inlet and the product outlet are fixedly mounted relative to the evaporation chamber, and a motor which drives the shaft back and forth on itself. The condensation chamber is fixedly mounted relative to the evaporation chamber, and the evaporation chamber and the condensation chamber are connected by second flexible connectors.
Vacuum chamber apparatus with single roller for rotating container
An apparatus and method for providing a simpler and more robust mechanism for transporting materials to be dried through a vacuum microwave chamber in rotating containers. The apparatus (20) has a vacuum chamber (22), an input end (26) to introduce a container (24) into the chamber, and a discharge end (28) to remove the container. The container has spur gear teeth (60) extending along its outer circumferential surface. The apparatus has a single roller (42) having spur gear teeth (46) extending along its outer circumferential surface. The spur gear teeth of the roller mesh with the spur gear teeth of the container such that rotation of the roller about its longitudinal axis rotates the container. The apparatus also includes means for holding the container on the roller, means for moving the container through the chamber, a microwave generator 76 arranged for transmission of microwave radiation from the generator into the chamber, and means for reducing pressure inside the chamber.
Mattress centrifugal dehydration device
A mattress centrifugal dehydration device which includes a frame body, a dehydration assembly, and a second driving structure. The dehydration assembly has a dehydration rack, a stop member, and a first driving structure. The dehydration rack is rotatably arranged on the frame body, and a loading member of a mattress is arranged on the dehydration rack, and the loading member has a loading surface. The stop member is arranged above the loading member, the stop member has a stop surface, and an accommodating space of the mattress is formed between the stop surface and the loading surface; the first driving structure is arranged on the dehydration rack and acts on the stop member to drive it to be close to or away from the loading member so as to reduce or enlarge the accommodating space.
PLANT AND RELATED PROCESS FOR TREATING ORGANIC MATERIAL
A plant for treating organic material, having a reactor configured to dry organic material and a closure device (9) operating on a loading channel (6) for feeding material into the reactor. The closure device is designed to interact with material located at the outlet mouths (7) of the loading channel using separation elements (11). According to further aspects, the system may include an active filter (34) on a gas exhaust duct (30) that directs moisture-rich gases outside the reactor. In addition, the plant may be equipped with one or more suspension systems (57) that connect a frame (56) supporting the reactor to an angular position sensor (59), enabling translational movement of the sensor (59) relative to the frame. In other aspects, a process for treating organic material is provided, which involves loading the material into the reactor in a differentiated manner across two or more zones (3a) within the reactor (2).
