A device for drying grain includes a housing having an inlet port and an outlet port, a first passageway, a second passageway, a grain flow housing, a filter across the grain flow housing, a recovery column, an air supply, a recycle column, a filter cleaner in the recovery column, and a conveyor for moving the filter cleaner along the filter. The air supply pulls an air flow into the housing through the inlet port as a grain flow pours through the grain flow housing. The air flow passes through the grain flow in a first pass air flow from the passageways to dry the grain. The first pass air flow passes through the filter to remove particles, and a portion of that filtered first pass air flow is recycled back with the filter cleaner to dislodge particles clogging the filter. The other portion is vented through the outlet port.

An integrated grain drying/storage/regulating bin with a built-in bellows and an externally disposed compartment comprises an integrated bin body, a grain distributing device, an external compartment outside the integrated bin body, an internal bellows inside the integrated bin body, a heating device, a refrigerating device, a humidifying device, an air flow distributing device, a centrifugal fan, and an air flow control valve. The merits of the present invention are: (1) being able to prevent the occurrence of moisture condensation; (2) facilitating production cost reductions; (3) uniformly heating and drying the grains in the bin; (4) being capable of preventing the filter for the grain layers in the bin from blockage or short circuit caused by spontaneous grain grading; (5) being able to implement low temperature or quasi-low temperature storage; and (6) being capable of enhancing grain toughness, lowering breakage rate, and increasing production yield and product quality.

GRAIN DRYER UNLOAD SYSTEM

A grain dryer unload system is presented that facilitates operation of a discharge system independent of a metering system. A motor connects to an axle that connects to the discharge system, which may be a drag chain, a belt or an auger. The axle also connects to a metering system. A clutch mechanism is connected to an end of the axle and is positioned between the discharge system and the metering system. When the clutch mechanism is in an engaged position, the motor simultaneously operates the metering system and the discharge system. However, when the clutch mechanism is in a disengaged position, the motor operates the discharge system while the metering system does not operate. This arrangement facilitates easier cleaning of the grain dryer without introducing the fines into the grain or a connected grain storage device.

NEGATIVE-PRESSURE CONTINUOUS GRAIN DRYER WITH BUILT-IN HEATING DEVICE

The present application discloses a negative-pressure continuous grain dryer with a built-in heating device, wherein the negative-pressure continuous grain dryer comprises a dryer bin, a heating device, and a centrifugal fan. Several levels of the heating devices are disposed from top to bottom in the dryer bin. A grain mixing device is provided below the heating device at each level. Outside the bin, an auxiliary heating device and a natural air inlet are provided in correspondence with the heating device at each level. The auxiliary heating device and the natural air inlet communicate with the grains and the respective heating device in the dryer bin through a perforated baffle plate. The centrifugal fan communicates with each of moisture exhaust vents at each level through an air duct.

Mixed Flow Grain Dryer Including Conveyor

A mixed flow grain dryer according to the present disclosure includes a plenum, a blower operable to force outside air into the plenum, a heater operable to heat air flowing from the blower to the plenum, at least one column, and a conveyor. The at least one column is configured to receive heated air from the plenum such that the heated air dries grain flowing through the at least one column. The at least one column is configured to change a flow direction of the heated air. The conveyor is configured to meter a discharge of grain from the at least one column.
