Power supply and method to deter mold
An apparatus and method to deter mold growth on the interior surfaces of buildings. The apparatus is a corded and plugged power supply with adjustable temperature and humidity sensors, logic circuitry, and split duplex receptacles. The method employs the apparatus, a portable heater, an array of portable fans, and catchments containing a hygroscopic substance such as calcium chloride. One receptacle controls the heater. The other receptacle controls the fans. There are three operative states: a heat-on/fans-on state at low temperature, a heat-off/fans-on state at high temperature and high humidity, and an idle state at high temperature and low humidity. The catchments capture water vapor circulated by the fans.
DEHUMIDIFIER WITH PUMP PICK-UP
A dehumidifier system is provided. The dehumidifier system may include a condensate tank and a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier may be positionable between at least one deployed position and at least one stowed position relative to the condensate tank. The condensate tank and the dehumidifier may telescope relative to each other. The dehumidifier system, or portions thereof, may include one or more stacking structures. The dehumidifier system, or portions thereof, may include a pump pick-up.
Cooling acetylated wood elements
A process for the production of acetylated wood elements, a cooling system and a wood acetylation plant are described. A process for the production of acetylated wood elements comprises acetylating wood elements and cooling the acetylated wood elements wherein the cooling comprises supplying liquid water to the acetylated wood elements to provide wetted wood elements and exposing the wetted wood elements to a gas flow.
RAPID DEPRESSURIZATION CONTROLLED ICE NUCLEATION IN PHARMACEUTICAL FREEZE-DRYING
A lyophilization method for lyophilizing products inside one or more vials within a lyophilization chamber is disclosed which includes humidifying a charge gas to a predetermined relative humidity, cooling shelves in the lyophilization chamber to a predetermined temperature, pressurizing the chamber with the humidified charge gas to a pressurization threshold to thereby achieving a target relative humidity level within the lyophilization chamber, and suddenly releasing pressure within the lyophilization chamber until a depressurization threshold is reached in a short time interval up to about 4 seconds, during the depressurization, product inside one or more vials nucleate.
AMBIENT AIR DRYING OF SLUDGE
A system for reducing moisture content of a wet waste product includes a drying surface; a dispenser that deposits the wet waste product onto the drying surface; an air moving device (AMD) that induces a flow of ambient air over the wet waste product on the drying surface to produce a dried waste product from the wet waste product; a collection area that transports the dried waste product away from the drying surface; and an agitator that moves the dried waste product from the drying surface to the collection area after the dried waste product has been dried to have a predetermined moisture content. A corresponding method for reducing moisture content of the wet waste product comprises using the system to convectively dry the wet waste product to produce the dry waste product. The wet waste product can be from a swine lagoon.

Partial vacuum drying system and method
A material drying system provides for consistent and efficient drying of organic materials, such as cannabis. In certain embodiments, a partial vacuum drying system is used to dry the materials and includes a container, a heating system, a depressurization system, and a control system. Air in the container is heated to within a range of temperatures and a low vacuum is applied to assist with evaporation. In addition, the volume flow rate of air pulled out of the container is monitored and maintained at a predetermined rate, which pulls moisture away from the materials so as to prevent degradation of the materials during the drying process while also reducing drying time. A relatively high air volume flow rate is maintained at low pressure by adjusting the area of an opening in the chamber.
Softgel drying machine
The softgel drying machine comprises a casing, an air channel, a drying chamber, an air return channel, a tumbler and an air-drying system. The casing comprises an air circulation chamber and an air generation chamber. The drying chamber comprises at least one air supply opening and at least one air returning plate. The air-drying system comprises at least one air blower fan, a dehumidification module and an air return cooling module. The air blower fan comprises an air blower inlet port, an air blower outlet port, a chiller and an air supply duct. The chiller is coupled to the air blower outlet port. The air return cooling module comprises an air return duct, an air return inlet port and an air return outlet port. The air return inlet port is airtightly coupled to the air return channel through the air return duct.
PORTABLE CONTROLLER FOR DRYING EQUIPMENT AND RELATED SYSTEM AND METHOD
Current technologies for restoring buildings and spaces, such as drying processes to remove water damage, are prone to technical error and operational error. A portable controller is herein provided to autonomously monitor and control restoration equipment, including drying equipment. The portable controller is in data communication with a server system, and the server system can remotely control the portable controller. The portable controller includes outlet receptacles to which the drying equipment is connectable. The portable controller includes a computer that autonomously determines when to provide electrical power and when to cut off the electrical power to the outlet receptacles, in order to respectively activate and deactivate the drying equipment. The portable controller also senses environment conditions and electrical power consumption caused by the drying equipment. This data is transmitted to the server system for storage and analysis.
