Transformable spherical ball toy
The present invention relates to a generally spherical toy ball constructed to unfold to a unique shape upon impact with a rigid surface. The ball includes an exterior generally spherical structure having a plurality of flexible fiberglass rods disposed therein with each rod covered by a pliable plastic. Each rod has interlocking ends configured to releasably attach to form the generally spherical shape. The interlocking ends are released during impact as a result of the force imposed when the ball hits a floor or any other rigid surface to transform into the unique shape. The flexible fiberglass rods are designed to enable the ball to attain a second shape such as a parachute, kite, plane, and the like upon unfolding. The toy is reconfigured to fold to the spherical shape (i.e., first shape) upon locking the interlocking ends together.
Three-dimensional transformable toy
A three-dimensional transformable toy having a body with a first surface and a second surface and having a hollow cavity formed therein. A flexible fill material is positioned between the first and second surfaces. The toy also has expandable/contractable member positioned between the first and second surfaces and which surrounds an opening leading to the hollow cavity. The expandable/contractable member permits the opening to expand in size and contract in size as the body switches between the first and second configurations. The expandable/contractable member further creates a relatively flat bottom surface which allows the toy to stand upright in both the first and second configurations.
SYSTEM FOR TRANSFORMING A BED INTO A PLUSH TOY
A system for transforming a bed into a plush toy includes first and second components forming the plush toy. The first component is a first portion of a plush toy configured to be removably mounted to a headboard of the bed. The second component is separate and independent from the first component and is a second portion of the plush toy configured to be removably mounted over a mattress of the bed. When respectively mounted to the headboard and mattress of the bed, the first and second portions combine to form the entire plush toy.
