Method And Apparatus For Dehydration Of Biomass
A method and corresponding dehydration apparatus, whereby the method includes disposing an amount of biomass in a pressurizable chamber, generating a sub-atmospheric pressure in the chamber, and vaporizing water associated with the biomass to produce dehydrated biomass.
COANDA-EFFECT VEGETABLE MATERIAL DRYER
A cylindrical drum having a plurality of vanes which extend radially into the drum and extend axially substantially the length of the drum rotates about its axis such that the plurality of vanes convey vegetable material from a lowest point in the interior of the drum to a highest point in the interior of the drum, there, to drop the vegetable matter downward within the interior of the drum. A plenum feeds air through a nozzle opening in a rectangular slot extending in its longest dimension substantially the length of the drum. The plenum and nozzle being housed to form a Coand{hacek over (a)}-effect nozzle body having a tear-shaped housing. Two Coand{hacek over (a)} surfaces are situated in opposed relation terminating at the nozzle. The Coand{hacek over (a)} surfaces to guide air into a combined flow. A hopper plate cooperates with the housing to form a hopper directing vegetable matter to collide with the combined flow.
DEVICE FOR CONVEYING AND FEEDING WET MATERIAL FOR CROSS-FLOW HOT AIR COMBINE HARVESTER
A device for conveying and feeding wet material for a cross-flow hot air combine harvester, the device consisting of a hot air pumping part and a material conveying part. The hot air pumping part uses an air suction pump (4) to pump a flow of hot waste air from an engine radiator (1) of the combine harvester by means of an air suction pipeline (3) so as to provide hot air flow for the material conveying and feeding device. The material conveying part consists of a chain harrow-type conveying groove structure (A) and a cross-flow air chamber structure (B), wherein the chain harrow-type conveying groove structure (A) is located at an upper part of the cross-flow air chamber structure (B) and is used for forcibly conveying and feeding a material; and the cross-flow air chamber structure (B) uses hot air to dry the material, blows to assist in feeding the material, and uses a cross-flow air wheel (14) to forcibly feed the material. By using excess heat that is generated by the engine of the combine harvester to perform auxiliary blowing and drying during the process of conveying and feeding a wet material, the feeding device may lower the temperature of the engine and reduce the effects of heat radiation and ageing that high temperatures have on surrounding devices, and may lower the water content of a wet agricultural material, thus preventing blockages produced because of moisture.
Dynamic state configuration for paddle processor
Provided is a paddle processor and a method for processing material within the paddle processor. In one example, the paddle processor may include a trough comprising an inlet to receive a feed of material and an outlet for exiting the material after processing, rotational paddles disposed in the trough and configured to rotate about each other to move the material from the inlet to the outlet, an overflow weir disposed in association with the outlet and having a dynamically adjustable height for controlling a rate at which the material exits the trough, and a control system configured to dynamically adjust the height of the overflow weir and/or other dryer parameters based on a temperature of the material within the trough.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRYING FOR WET MATRICES
A drying apparatus of a wet matrix includes air insufflation/suction means, suitable for generating a drying flow directed towards the wet matrix in at least one drying chamber, to facilitate removal of water from said wet matrix, and means for conveying the wet matrix inside the drying apparatus, having a conveyor belt that carries the wet matrix along a longitudinal direction (X-X). Advantageously, the drying apparatus has at least one heat exchanger cooled below dew temperature to condense humidity of air coming from the wet matrix.
Vacuum extraction oven
A device for drying organic substances under vacuum and altered temperature conditions, e.g. to extract particulates from the substance without significant damage to the substance. The device can contain a hollow vacuum oven to dry the organic substance. The substance is placed on the shelves in the vacuum chamber and the heaters below the shelves maintain the temperature uniformity to evenly heat the substance on the shelf. A vacuum feedthrough is connected on one side of the shelf for desired flow of the substance and the shelves themselves can be tilted for even drying. The vacuum pump, which can be used in high vacuum mode or gas flow mode then removes the particulates that evaporated from the substance and the condenser collects and condenses the unwanted or wanted particulates.
DRYING APPARATUS FOR GRANULAR MATERIALS AND DRYING METHOD FOR GRANULAR MATERIALS
A drying apparatus for granular materials in which granular materials in a drying tank are heated and dried; the drying apparatus includes a moving mechanism to move the granular materials in the drying tank; and a control section to control the moving mechanism so as to move the granular materials in the drying tank upon determining that temperature of the granular materials around a heating portion in the drying tank exceeds a glass transition temperature.
Drying device for drying hygroscopic material to be dried
Drying device for drying hygroscopic material, for example wood, has a drying chamber for accommodating material to be dried, and air conditioning for setting a drying climate in drying chamber during drying process. Air conditioning sets drying climate, at least in part, as a function of moisture of material to be dried. There are bar-like support devices for storing material to be dried in drying chamber during drying process. At least one bar-like support device has scale for measuring weight of material to be dried that is stored on support device. Scale is in signal transmission connection with a control apparatus designed and programmed so that moisture of material to be dried is determined from weight measured by scale. Control apparatus is designed and programmed for controlling air conditioning so drying climate is set as a function of moisture of the respective material to be dried, as determined from the weight measured.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING DRIED PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT FROM A PHARMACEUTICAL DRYING DEVICE
Apparatus and method for collecting a dried pharmaceutical product from a product reservoir of a pharmaceutical drying device, such as a thin film evaporator, while the product reservoir remains under continuous vacuum pressure. The apparatus comprises a discharge chute, a vacuum supply control valve, a product inlet valve, a gas control valve, a collection control valve and one or more collection containers The discharge chute comprises a substantially airtight internal chamber, a housing substantially surrounding the airtight internal chamber, a vacuum supply inlet that fluidly connects the airtight internal chamber of the discharge chute to a vacuum source, a solids inlet that fluidly connects the internal chamber to a product reservoir of the dryer, a gas inlet that fluidly connects the airtight internal chamber to a gas source, and a solids outlet that fluidly connects the airtight internal chamber to a collection container The inlets and outlets are opened and closed by operation of flow control valves connected to those inlets and outlets in order to remove or admit gas to the discharge chute to effectively depressurize and re-pressurize the discharge chute, while moving dried pharmaceutical product out of the dryer and through the discharge chute. A flow diverter assembly directs on-spec material to a primary collection container and off-spec material to an auxiliary or waste collection container.
Vegetation Drying Tray And Rack System
A vegetation tray includes a base. The base is formed from a thin wall having a plurality of spaced peaks and valleys. A plurality of apertures are in the base. The apertures enables passage of air for drying vegetation on the tray. A boundary wall extending from the base.
