Lumber Drying Kiln Configurations and Methods
Lumber drying kilns are provided that can include a ceiling member supported by opposing wall members and a pair of complimentary baffles extending vertically from about a junction of the wall and ceiling. Drying kilns are also provided that can include a junction between a wall and a ceiling above material to be dried within the drying kiln and at least one baffle extending vertically along the side of the material to be dried. Methods for retrofitting existing drying kilns are provided that can include extending vertical baffles from about a junction of a wall and ceiling of the drying kiln. Methods for drying material within a drying kiln are also provided that can include placing material to be dried within a drying kiln and drying the material within the kiln while a pair of vertical extending baffles hang along opposing walls of the kiln.
METHOD FOR TREATING SUBSTRATE
A method for treating a substrate, including a solvent processing step of supplying an organic solvent onto the substrate to treat the substrate, a drying step of drying the substrate to remove the organic solvent on the substrate, and a bake step of heating the substrate to thermally decompose an impurity adhering to the substrate, where the drying step and the bake step are performed in different chambers.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MICROWAVE VACUUM DRYING STERILE PRODUCTS
A microwave vacuum dryer includes a loading chamber and a first vacuum pump in communication with the loading chamber, a first door separating the loading chamber from an external environment, a drying chamber adjacent the loading chamber, a second vacuum pump in communication with the drying chamber, and a condenser in communication with the drying chamber, a second door separating the loading chamber and the drying chamber, an unloading chamber adjacent the drying chamber and a third vacuum pump in communication with the unloading chamber, a third door separating the drying chamber from the unloading chamber, a fourth door separating the unloading chamber from the external environment, and a microwave chamber having a plurality of magnetrons, the microwave chamber positioned on a different plane from the loading and unloading chambers and adjacent the drying chamber.
LOADING SYSTEM FOR A FREEZE DRYER, FREEZE-DRYING SYSTEM, AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
A loading system for a freeze dryer, wherein the loading system is configured to load and/or unload the freeze dryer with containers filled with a medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic substance. The loading system comprises a handling station and at least one carrier plate, wherein each carrier plate comprises a plurality of receptacles configured to each receive one of the containers, and the handling station comprises at least one handling device configured to handle the carrier plate in the handling station. A freeze-drying system having such a loading system, and a method for handling containers filled with, for example, a medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic substance in such a loading system for a freeze dryer are also disclosed.
DRYER FOR CERAMIC PRODUCTS
A dryer for ceramic products that includes a casing that encloses a drying chamber with drying channels that have a first movable plane equipped with a motor means provided to transport the ceramic products along a main direction, and a heating means provided to heat the drying chamber. The dryer further includes outlet channels in the drying chamber aligned with a respective drying channel along the main direction and a second mobile plane with a motor means and the motor means of each first mobile plane is activated independently from the motor means of the second mobile plane with which it is aligned.
Method and apparatus for loading a lyophilization system
Disclosed are systems and methods for aseptically filling pharmaceutical containers with a pharmaceutical substance and then lyophilizing it. In one general aspect, the system and method can employ a lyophilizer loader subsystem having an interior chamber in communication with an interior chamber of a lyophilizer subsystem via a portal with a sealable door, with the collective interior being aseptically sealable. An articulated robotic arm can be employed to batch transfer to the lyophilizer subsystem container nests bearing the pharmaceutical containers. In one embodiment, the nests may be transferred serially to the loader subsystem, with the articulated robotic arm being configured to transfer the nests of containers in batches to the lyophilizer subsystem. The articulated robotic arm can also be configured to be used to move batches of nests within the lyophilizer subsystem. One implementation includes two articulated arms and a joint rotary wrist driven by two rotary shoulders.
DRYING DEVICE AND DRYING METHOD
A drying device includes multiple partitioned spaces, and a jetting device configured to jet air to a component holder in each of the multiple spaces.
Apparatus and method for selectively withdrawing panels with different finishes
A vertical oven for drying and temporarily storing painted panels includes racks for supporting the panels; an uploading/downloading system into/from the vertical oven; and a stacker crane having two multiple forks each including a plurality of single forks, a first multiple fork withdrawing the panels from a first side of the oven and a second multiple fork withdrawing the panels from the opposed side of the oven, the panels being positioned on the racks side by side or alone based on width. A control unit controls panel uploading/downloading and/or the stacker crane through a control software. Each single fork has an independent actuator and is separately controlled by the control unit. The software configures the control unit to determine the number of single forks to be actuated according to the length of the panel to be withdrawn, and the length of the stroke of the forks based on panel width.
Cleaning apparatus and cleaning method
Clamping an axially extending workpiece along a center axis and cleaning a shaft portion and an end to clean and dry the workpiece in a short period of time. A cleaning apparatus for cleaning the workpiece, including a cleaning chamber having a first side wall and a second side wall, a cleaning station including a cleaning axis, a cleaning nozzle, a first clamping device arranged on the first side wall, a second clamping device arranged on the second side wall, and a drying station including a drying axis, a drying nozzle, a second clamping device arranged on the second side wall, and a turn table having two regions arranged in a 180 degree rotational symmetry. The turn table arranges one of the two regions is arranged in the cleaning station, and the other in the drying station.
