Rechargeable Interactive Toy
An interactive toy, system, and method of controlling the same. The interactive toy includes a toy housing comprising therein a function device performing user-perceptible, controllable functions; a control circuit controlling the function device; a rechargeable power source providing operating power to the function device and the control circuit; and a charging circuit for contactless receipt of electrical energy and for charging the rechargeable power source when the interactive toy is positioned in a charging zone of a contactless charging device. The control circuit receives a primary signal indicative of an interaction stimulus; a secondary signal indicative of a position of the interactive toy with respect to the charging zone; and, responsive to the primary signal, controls the function device to perform a user-perceptible function selected based on the secondary signal. The interactive toy system includes an interactive toy and a contactless charging device defining one or more charging zones.
Modular electronic building systems with magnetic interconnections and methods of using the same
Electrical connectors, electrical modules, and systems are provided. In one aspect, an electrical connector includes a housing defining a side surface, an electrical conductor supported by the housing and including an engagement portion proximate the side surface of the housing. The engagement portion is adapted to engage another electrical conductor of another electrical connector. The connector also includes a magnet supported by the housing proximate the side surface of the housing, a projection extending from the side surface of the housing, and a receptacle defined in the side surface of the housing. In other aspects, an electrical module includes at least one of these electrical connectors. In further aspects, a system includes a plurality of these modules and the modules are selectively couplable together.
CONSTRUCTION TOY INCLUDING TUBES AND CONNECTORS, AND DEVICE FOR CUTTING AND BENDING TUBES THEREFOR
A device for cutting and bending a hollow elongate tube. A measuring subassembly is adapted for measuring a desired size of the tube. A cutting subassembly is adapted for cutting the tube to the desired size. A bending subassembly is adapted for bending the cut tube to a desired angular orientation. The bending subassembly includes a base controlling a radius of a bend to be formed in the cut hollow elongate tube, and a user grippable handle. The user grippable handle is configured to enable a user to rotate the cut hollow elongate tube, relative to the round base, to form the bend in the cut hollow elongate tube.

An air driven toy includes at least one connectible section that is removably couplable to an air flow generator to receive the object and defines at least one path for fluid flow through the at least one connectible section, wherein the air flow generator is configured to cause the object to be propelled through the at least one connectible section.

The presentation invention relates to a first electrical connector element for a modular construction element and/or system, including a first connector part having a plurality of electrical contacts electrically connected to a plurality of electrical conductors. The first electrical connector is adapted to connect with a second electrical connector element, and includes a strain relief part to securely hold the plurality of electrical conductors thereby securing the plurality of electrical conductors to the first electrical connector element. The first electrical connector also includes a number of lock and release elements for engaging with the second electrical connector element when mechanically and electrically coupled together and releasing the coupling of the first and the second electrical connector elements when subjected to one or more pull forces above a predetermined release threshold.
A MODULAR TOY SYSTEM WITH ELECTRONIC TOY MODULES
A modular toy system comprising a plurality of separate electronic toy modules, each electronic toy module comprising a function device operable to perform a user-perceptible function and a control circuit for controlling the function device; wherein at least a first electronic toy module of the plurality of electronic toy modules comprises a first control circuit, a first function device and a sensor system configured for contactless detection of respective coordinate values of at least two coordinates, each coordinate being indicative of a position or an orientation of at least a second electronic toy module of the plurality of electronic toy modules relative to the first electronic toy module; and wherein the first control circuit is configured to control operation of the first function device based on one or more of the detected coordinate values.
A TOY CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM WITH INTERACTIVE FUNCTION CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS
A toy construction system comprising a plurality of toy construction elements including a plurality of function construction elements. The toy construction elements and the function construction elements are detachably interconnected with each other forming a toy construction model. The toy construction model comprising at least a subset of the plurality of toy construction elements; each function construction element comprising a function device adapted to perform a user-perceptible function. The toy construction system further comprises a tag construction element detachably connectable to one or more of the toy construction elements. The tag construction element and the function construction elements are configured for communication of configuration data from the tag construction element to each of the subset of function construction elements when the tag construction element is connected to a toy construction element. Each function construction element of the subset is configured to control the function device responsive to the communicated configuration data.
