Method and mobile vehicle platform device for drying biomass fuel
A method for drying biomass fuel, including: 1) collecting and cutting raw biomass fuel into fragments; mechanically squeezing and dehydrating the fragments to yield biomass fuel in the form of filter cake; 2) mashing and loosening the biomass fuel in the form of filter cake; and loading the biomass fuel onto charging carriages of fuel transport vehicles; 3) connecting tails of the fuel transport vehicles and the carrier vehicle of drying equipment; moving the movable drying room of the carrier vehicle of drying equipment onto the fuel transport vehicles; 4) convectively drying the biomass fuel in the charging carriages; 5) exhausting air in the movable drying room following convective drying; and 6) moving the movable drying room to cover and seal the charging carriages of a next fuel transport vehicle following radiant drying. A mobile device for drying biomass fuel is also provided.
Laboratory consumable drying device
A drying device includes a first compartment configured to removably receive a drying chamber. The drying chamber includes a tray capable of receiving one or more racks that are configured to hold a plurality of laboratory consumables. The first compartment includes one or more pistons capable of displacing the tray to agitate the laboratory consumables. A second compartment is attached to the first compartment. The second compartment includes one or more air flow sources for directing a flow of air to the plurality of laboratory consumables and an air filter located proximate to the one or more air flow sources. A method of drying laboratory consumables is also disclosed.
Foam drying apparatus
A foam drying apparatus is provided. The apparatus is configured to pass air, and in some cases heated and/or dried air, through a quantity of foam. This air passing through the foam absorbs or otherwise carries moisture out of the foam, drying it. The apparatus may utilize a pressure differential on opposite sides of the foam, causing air on the higher pressure side to pass through the foam. Typical applications may include the drying of foam assemblies which use water based adhesives to accelerate drying of the adhesive and/or removal of water from the foam assembly, and packaging of the foam assembly.
DRYERS FOR REMOVING SOLVENT FROM A DRUG-ELUTING COATING APPLIED TO MEDICAL DEVICES
A coating device for coating a medical device with a drug-eluting material uses an in-process drying station between coats to improve a drug release profile. The drying station includes a dryer having a telescoping plenum which provides a drying chamber for the stent or scaffold to reside while a heated gas is passed over the stent/scaffold. The drying chamber improves efficiency in drying, predictability or drug release rate, uniformity of coating material properties lengthwise over the stent/scaffold and provides a platform that can effectively support stents that are over 40 mm in length.
Portable Collapsible Food Dehydrator
A collapsible food dehydrator having a cabinet formed of a pair of sidewalls removably engaged using fasteners with a top wall, a bottom wall, and a fan housing. The fasteners impart a tension to the removable engagement to strengthen the cabinet. Shelves are slidably engaged with a plurality of pairs of tracks removably engaged on opposing sides of an interior cavity.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FOOD DEHYDRATION
Embodiments herein include devices adaptable to dehydrate articles, including foods. Embodiments are shown which can be compacted for reduced storage, and/or shipping requirements and/or for other purposes. Embodiments include simple, inexpensive means for controlling dehydrating conditions, including airflow. Various article holding devices, including devices to hold foods being dehydrated, are also shown. Such devices include vertical, diagonal, and horizontal panels to secure articles. Embodiments shown have variations which include the use of non-motorized convection airflow, as well as devices which incorporate motor driven air movement means. Embodiments are shown which may be used for preparing articles, including foods, for dehydration, including slicing such articles.
Dryers for removing solvent from a drug-eluting coating applied to medical devices
A coating device for coating a medical device with a drug-eluting material uses an in-process drying station between coats to improve a drug release profile. The drying station includes a dryer having a telescoping plenum which provides a shield and drying region for the stent or scaffold to reside while a heated gas is passed over the stent/scaffold. The shield and drying region improve efficiency in drying, predictability or drug release rate, uniformity of coating material properties lengthwise over the stent/scaffold and provide a platform that can effectively support stents that are over 40 mm in length.
Disposable For A Spray Drying System
The present invention includes a spray drying disposable device for use in a spray drying system. The disposable has a spray drying head and a plasma drying chamber. The head has a spray dry nozzle assembly in fluid communication with the plasma source and the pressurized aerosol gas source. The pressurized gas flows in a vortex pattern that atomizes plasma droplets in the chamber. The head also includes a plenum has uniform air pressure of the drying gas. A baffle plate forms the floor of the plenum having drying gas jets that supply drying gas to the chamber. The atomized plasma droplets evaporate in the presence of the drying gas emitted from the jets to obtain dried plasma particles and humid air. A capture filter captures the dried plasma particles and allows the humid air to pass. The humid air passes through the gas outlet and the exhaust port.
