A building toy and a method of building with it. The toy is designed to be constructed of a rigid and generally non-deformable material such as but not limited to, wood and particularly hardwood, and is constructed in the fashion of a log-style building toy. The toy utilizes interconnecting notches in its construction, but provides for a variety of specialized pieces which allow for interconnection of parts where there is one notch but not another, as well as the ability to build roofs, floors, and specialty structures such as fireplaces through the use of specialized components. Further, the use of more strongly connecting components allows for stronger structures to be built.

A stackable track assembly and method for stacking a booster and/or track frame is disclosed. The stackable track assembly includes a base, a track portion disposed in the base, and a frame extending out of the base and laterally across the top of the base. The stackable track assembly further includes a tab and slot for laterally coupling two track assemblies. The stackable track assembly further includes a receiving member and engagement member for vertically and/or laterally coupling two track assemblies. In some implementations, the track assembly may include a booster for accelerating a toy vehicle.

A 3D fort building kit is a device that can create a variety of structures and shapes. In other words, the device has improved materials and designs with better qualities, that enables kids to build complex 3D structures. To accomplish this, the device includes panels, connectors and utility features that help kids to construct and assemble a structure of their choice in many designs. A gingerbread structure includes at least first and second gingerbread cookie panels, and a box-like support structure that includes at least first and second side panels that meet at an angle at a corner, wherein: inner surfaces of the first and second gingerbread cookie panels are adhered to flat surfaces of the first and second side panels by first and second amounts of edible icing in orientations that cause side edges of the first and second gingerbread cookie panels to extend adjacent to and parallel to the corner; and to extend adjacent to and parallel to each other to enable the side edges to be adhered to each other by depositing a third amount of edible icing along and therebetween.

Provided herewith is a system for assembling a temporary structure using a plurality of separate members. A first member has ends at opposite sides of an elongated body portion, with notches on the top and bottom sides of each end. A second member has ends with notches formed on opposite between the ends. These notches enable the first and second members to engage with other such separate members. A third member has a triangular shape that functions as a roof truss with opposing sloped surfaces and an underside. A pair of truss notches is formed at positions corresponding to the notches of the first member, for each engaging with one of the plurality of separate members. The third member also includes feature hooks, formed on the sloped surfaces, for engaging with a fourth member defined by a planar roofing material having a plurality of holes.

A wooden construction assembly is disclosed. The wooden construction assembly includes a first set of construction units comprising a first plurality of apertures, wherein the first set of construction units is elongated and comprises at least three different lengths. The wooden construction assembly includes a second set of construction units comprising a second plurality of apertures, wherein the second construction unit is triangular and comprise of at least two different area sizes. A first construction unit of the first set of construction units is configured to be placed in the aperture of a second construction unit.

A bowl shaped toy construction element where two such elements can be assembled via releasable and pivotable hinge connections with a hinge axis, and where the hinge axes defined by the first and the second type of protruding connecting parts are mutually parallel and defining a first plane, and where the bowl shaped elements has a stand surface extending in a second plane substantially perpendicular to the first plane.

An interactive programmable toy board system includes a board, means for moving a movable object on the board along a route, and programming means. The board has a surface for removably placing the movable object on the board along the route. The system also includes one or more stationary object positioned on the surface of the board. The programming means is for programming the route of the movable object.

Connection systems for toy construction pieces, toy construction pieces, and toy construction kits. A connection system includes a male connection element and a female connection element. The male connection element includes a peg unit with a connector peg. The female connection element includes at least a portion of a connector core that defines a receiver cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the connector peg and at least a portion of a core shell. A toy construction kit for assembling a constructed assembly includes a plurality of toy construction pieces that collectively embody the connection system. A first construction piece includes the male connection element and a second construction piece includes the female connection element. The connection system is configured to selectively and repeatedly couple the first construction piece and the second construction piece to one another.
