Magnetic tiles construction set and accessories kit therefor
A game set allows building wall structures with magnetic tiles that have magnets located around the peripheral sides or edges. Since the tiles are held only by magnetic force, they are susceptible to buckling by application of perpendicular forces and to prevent such buckling, a plurality of thin holding strips are provided that extend over the joint, magnetically held edges of the magnetic tiles and prevents buckling. The magnet set also includes additional accessories, such as figurines that can be magnetically adhered to the wall structures, electrical lighting that can be adhered to the wall structures and drawing sheets that can be adhered to the wall structures.
Systems and methods for transcendental lighting applications
Enhanced building blocks may be formed from one or more basic shapes. Enhanced building blocks may include magnetic materials (e.g., magnets, ferromagnetic metals), piezoelectric materials, or lights (e.g., LEDs). Enhanced building blocks may be combined to form or give the appearance of various geometric structures, and may be used in various lighting applications.
MAGNETIC PLATE TOY
A magnetic plate toy includes a plurality of magnets and a polygonal plate member that includes a plurality of accommodation onions. A first magnet is movable along a side wall of the plate member and is rotatable about a first rotation axis oriented along the length of the first magnet and about a second rotation axis oriented along a thickness direction of the plate member. The plurality of accommodation portions are disposed along one or more side walls of the plate member, and a first accommodation portion include a first end portion. A width of the first end portion is equal to or greater than the width of the first magnet, the width of the first end portion is less than the length of the first magnet, and a width of an accommodation space in the first accommodation portion is greater than the width of the first end portion.
Apparatus for embedding a magnet in flexible elastic material
A magnet is embedded in a flexible elastic material, providing a means of temporarily connecting the flexible elastic material to ferromagnetic objects. A rigid cup provides a container for anchoring the magnet in the flexible elastic material. The cup also provides a structure to bind with the flexible elastic material. The magnet rests in the base of the cup, which extends past the surface of the material, allowing the magnet's forces to extend outside the base of the cup. The remainder of the cup resides within the material.
CONNECTING ELEMENT OF A TOY CONSTRUCTION KIT
The invention relates to fastening elements of a toy construction kit and can be used for creating toy construction kit elements which are connected by means of connecting elements. A connecting element of a toy construction kit consists of two parts, a receiving part and a removable part, which, when brought together, fasten together under the effect of magnetic forces such as to be disconnectable and rotatable about the coupling point by 360. The receiving part consists of a disc, a collar, and a neodymium magnet in the form of a truncated cone-shaped collar, which have different diameters and are fastened to one another. The removable part consists of a disc with a through opening, a collar, and a neodymium magnet, which have different diameters, and a metal rod, which are fastened to one another.
Activity box
An activity box includes two pairs of wheels having blind holes, two axles having two ends releasably insertable into the blind holes, and a box defining a space having a defined volume sufficiently large to fit the axles. The wheels include a first magnetically attractable component. The axles include a second magnetically attractable component secured at each end of each axle. The axles have a length spanning a width of the box, which has two pairs of through holes on two opposing sides to accommodate the axles, such that the axles are threaded through the through holes. The two pairs of wheels are rotatably attached to the box by magnetically coupling the first magnetically attractable component to the second magnetically attractable component, such that the activity box is configured to be used as a cart that can be rolled over a surface.
Electronic building block and building block kit having the same
An electronic building block includes a first side and a second side, a first magnet fixed to the first side and including a number of first magnet segments, a second magnet fixed to the second side and including a number of second magnet segments, a first power contact, a second power contact and a first communication contact arranged on the first side; and a third power contact, a fourth power contact and a second communication contact arranged on the second side and respectively coming into contact with the first power contact, the second power contact, and the first communication contact when the first magnet segments of one of two electronic building blocks is connected to the second magnet segments of the other of two electronic building blocks.
MAGNET HOLDER AND SYSTEM
A magnet holder insert comprising a magnet and magnet holder housing designed with internal wall features capable of keeping the magnet properly positioned in the holder device, and external wall features capable of keeping the magnet holder device securely mounted in the finished part. The internal and external fastening elements of the magnet holder housing are designed in such a way as to promote rapid and secure assembly of both the magnet device and the finished part. The exposed surface of the magnet holder device can be configured with flat or dome shaped exposed contact surfaces, depending on how secure or flexible the magnetic joining feature is intended, capable of attaching to another magnet device or a material susceptible to magnetic attraction.
Game Tile System
A tile game system is provided that includes a plurality of two-dimensional and three-dimensional components. The two-dimensional components can include a plurality of modular tiles provided in various sizes and configurations that can be joined together to form a grid-based gameplay area. The three-dimensional components can include external boundaries for the gameplay area, internal boundaries, terrain elements such as columns and staircases, and game figures. According to aspects of the present disclosure, the external and internal boundaries can be provided with recessed sections that allow a game figure to be contained within a single grid square and prevent the grid of the gameplay area from becoming warped. According to some aspects of the present disclosure the internal and external boundaries can be illuminated and provided with removable and interchangeable light-permeable skins that allow a user to switch between various illuminated designs.
FLEXIBLE CONSTRUCTION UNIT, KIT, AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A STRUCTURE
A construction unit may have a main body formed from a flexible material. The main body may have a first side and a second side. The construction unit may have a plurality of magnetic connectors attached to the main body. A kit for construction of a structure may have a plurality of construction units, at least one flexible link, at least one active unit, and at least one control unit. A method of making a structure includes a first step of providing a plurality of construction units. There is second step of connecting at least one of the magnetic connectors of a first one of the construction units with at least one of another one of the magnetic connectors of the first one of the construction units, and at least one of the magnetic connectors of a second one of the construction units, whereby the structure is formed.
