CIRCUIT BLOCKS
Circuit blocks are provided. A circuit block may include a substrate and at least one electrical component mounted on the substrate. The circuit block may also include a non-conductive frame coupled to the substrate, and at least one post coupled to the substrate and extending from the substrate and through at least a portion of the frame in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the major surface of the substrate. Moreover, the circuit block may include a contact coupled to a second, opposite surface of the substrate and including a corner section projecting outwardly from the frame and extending in at least two directions substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the at least one post. The block may also include at least one magnet positioned proximate the flexible corner section of the contact and configured to magnetically attract at least one other circuit block.
CONSTRUCTION TOY WITH PROGRAMMABLE CONNECTORS
A construction toy includes a housing and a connector coupled to the housing. The connector may be configured to selectively couple the construction toy to a second construction toy. The connector may be adjustable between at least two connectivity states. The construction toy may also include an operating assembly configured to adjust the connector between the at least two connectivity states. The construction toy may further include a power source configured to supply power to at least the operating assembly.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL GEOMETRIC ART TOYS
Geometric art toys are provided which include first toy members and second toy members. The first toy members are formed as tetrahedrons, and in some embodiments include a magnet positioned in a cradle such that the magnet alternatingly exhibits a first polarity through a first face and a second face of the first toy member. The second toy members are also formed as tetrahedrons, and in some embodiments include a magnet positioned in a cradle such that the magnet alternatingly exhibits a second polarity that is different from the first polarity through a first face and a second face of the second toy member.
Module assembly
Provided is a module assembly including a plurality of modules. The modules each include a polyhedral housing with a polygonal plane, a pin provided on one side of a corner of the housing to selectively protrude, a pin installation portion in which the pin is installed to be movable, a pin receiver provided on another side of the corner of the housing such that a pin of another module is to be inserted thereinto, and a magnet installed between the pin installation portion and the pin receiver, and configured to apply magnetic force to both the pin provided in the pin installation portion and the pin of the other module to be received in the pin receiver.
LETTER CUBES
The Letter Cubes are block to make buildings that do not just make a statement with their rooms, walls and the like, but also make verbal statements with the blocks themselves. It has a series of three-dimensional fonts made with metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, recycled materials and other materials that magnetically, with knobs, hooks, snaps and tubes (and combinations of these and other interfaces) assemble into walls, buildings and other structures that communicate messages. These alphabets also have a series of related pieces that include numbers, punctuation and additional knobs, beams and panels that enable construction of a wide range of buildings, toys, structures and objects that are artistic, toys, games and that are otherwise useful as boxes, chairs, tables, etc. The invention comes in its own box that is assembled further to the same logic as the alphabets so it does not have packaging waste.
STAXMAX SMOOTH CUBE
The StaxMax Smooth Cube is a puzzle that can assemble secure structures with flat surfaces without tools. It is a puzzle, the purpose of which is to disassemble the cube and assemble it together with other cubes into smooth structures. The Invention does this with a skeletal piece into which other panel pieces are assembled to form a smooth flat cube. The assembled smooth flat cube is locked shut with a snapping mechanism inside the cube that is activated with a magnet through the firm outer flat surface of the cube. The smooth cubes are unlocked and disassembled with the magnets of other smooth cubes. The panel pieces that snap into the backbone piece to form a smooth flat cube also serve to secure the flat cube to other flat cubes when they are disassembled and assembled.
Imagination Blocks
The invention relates to set of building blocks including inflatable blocks; means for connecting the inflatable blocks and a valve for inflating or deflating the inflatable blocks. The means for connecting the inflatable blocks is magnetic strip which provide sufficient adhesive force for holding the blocks together.
MAGNETIC MODULE AND CONSTRUCTION KIT
The present disclosure relates to a magnetic module assembly having opposing geometric frames and a plurality of connector struts that connect and extend between the geometric frames. Each of the geometric frames has a plurality of segments, with each segment having a magnet enclosure integrated in the segment. The segments are interposed between attachment points formed in the geometric frame, each attachment point having a pair of receptacles that are sized and shaped to receive a corresponding pair of connector pins from a connector strut. The segments of a geometric frame have a larger thickness compared to that of the attachment points, making the attachment points of the frame frangible.
Systems and methods for collapsible structure applications
Collapsible structures may be formed from planar solids. The structures may be comprised of multiple planar objects hingedly connected, where each planar object may include magnetic materials (e.g., magnets, ferromagnetic metals) or electromagnetic materials. Using the magnetic or electromagnetic materials, the connected planar objects may be arranged as a single planar object with multiple layers, or may be arranged as a three-dimensional (3-D) object, where the magnetic or electromagnetic materials may be used to retain the formed 3-D object shape. Application of a current to the electromagnetic materials may cause the collapsible structure to form the 3-D object, and removal of the electric current may cause the collapsible structure to revert to a single planar object. Multiple structures may be combined to form larger structures.
MAGNETIC BLOCK TOY
A magnetic block toy includes: a block body having, on outer surfaces thereof, coupling sections and non-coupling sections; and disk magnets provided inside the coupling sections in the block body. The block body includes magnet-holding portions where the disk magnets are arranged along the coupling sections and held in a circumferentially rotatable manner. Length of at least one side of the block body is equal to or longer than 30 millimeters and shorter than 40 millimeters. Only the coupling sections are provided with labels indicative of being capable of coupling to a coupling target. In the coupling sections, stepped portions are formed so that at least part of an outer-edge portion of each coupling section protrudes.
