BUILDING BLOCK AND BUILDING BLOCK KIT
A building block includes at least one of a plug portion and a socket portion. The plug portion has two cantilevered tongues deflectable toward each other. Each cantilevered tongue includes a first engaging portion. The socket portion defines a chamber and has two second engaging portions. The plug portion and the socket portion are configured in such a way that the plug portion of one building block is insertable into the chamber of the socket portion of another building block, and the two cantilevered tongues of the building block deflect toward each other after insertion of the plug portion of the building block into the chamber of the socket portion of the other building block, which allows the first engaging portions of the building block to be engaged with the second engaging portions of the other building block, thereby connecting the two building blocks together.
Geometric construction panel
A panel and a system for use in building a lightweight structure are provided. The panel, made of a film or a sheet capable of being curved or bent with fingers, includes a body in a geometric shape circumscribed by straight or curved edges, and at least one joint formation along the edge for panel connection. The joint formation has tabs separated by at least one gap. Each tab expands bilaterally and proximally from the body at its base, and each gap is positioned along the edge so as to accept the base of the tab. The joint formations along the edges of varied curvatures are alignedly, hingedly, and detachably interlocked with each other by twisting the panels with fingers to individually hook the tab at the gap. The panels are assembled into geometric structures having flat or curved faces.
Modular construction panels and fasteners therefor
Units and fasteners for a modular construction set are provided. A unit includes a panel having a front surface and a back surface opposite the front surface. The panel is made of a flexible material that biases the panel to a flat state. The panel includes an aperture between the front surface and the back surface. The unit further includes a fastener affixed to the panel at the aperture, the fastener including a first piece and a second piece joinable to the first piece through the aperture to affix the fastener to the panel. The fastener further includes a magnet disposed between the first piece and the second piece to engage the fastener with an oppositely facing fastener of the modular construction set.

Toy construction block kit
A toy construction block kit is disclosed. The basic unit of the toy construction block unit has three basic sides, with two side walls and a connecting wall. Each of the two side walls have tongues extending from their interior sides. The back connecting wall has means for reversibly capturing the tongues. The construction block units have two tongues that stick out from opposing walls, and a distal part which contains a double receiving clip. As each construction block unit has the two tongues and a double receiving clip, when two blocks are pushed together, they double lock. The construction block unit can be attached to one or more other construction block units, or could be attached to a blank cube.
Stack and nest toy
A stack and nest toy is provided. The toy includes a plurality tube sections that each comprise a scaled variant of a matching shape such that a first of the plurality of tube sections is scaled to nest around a second of the plurality of tube sections. The second of the plurality of tube sections is scaled such that a respective outer surface of a bottom portion thereof is configured to interlock with a respective inner surface of a top portion of the first of the plurality of tube sections and, when the first of the plurality of tube sections is interlocked with the second one of the plurality of tube sections, an orientation of the first of the plurality of tube sections is rotationally different from an orientation of the second of the plurality of tube sections.
Snap-lock construction toy platform
A snap-lock toy system has a receiving member with a thru-hole and a rod member having an engagement portion. The engagement portion selectively mates with the thru-hole and has a pair of cantilever members separated by a gap, each having a hole engagement rib to resiliently compress the first cantilever members to resiliently move the cantilever members concurrent with entering and exiting opposing ends of the thru-hole and selectively coupling the rod member to the receiving member by a friction interface. A locking member has an interface portion with a locking rib configured to selectively mate with the cantilever members. The locking rib resiliently compresses upon insertion of the locking rib between the cantilever members and decompresses when the locking rib engages an internal groove of the cantilever members to selectively prevent decoupling of the rod member from the receiving member.
Spinning magnetic toy block
A set of magnetic spinning toy blocks can include eight magnetic spinning toy blocks, and each of the magnetic spinning toy blocks can have a similar structure. The magnetic spinning toy block includes a frame having a frame opening. The frame has magnet retainers formed as chambers in the frame at a periphery of the frame. Magnets are mounted within the magnet retainers, and the magnets include a pair of upper magnets which include an right upper magnet and a left upper magnet. The magnets include pair of lower magnets which include a right lower magnet and a left lower magnet. The frame holds a rotating panel and the rotating panel is mounted within the frame.
Modular construction system, coupling element, object, tool and packaging
The invention relates to a modular construction system comprising at least one object and a coupling element releasably connectable to the object, wherein: the object comprises at least one surface with at least one opening, which opening comprises a number of inward extending lips arranged distributed over the periphery of the opening; the coupling element comprises a body with an axial axis arrangeable in the opening, which body is provided along its outer periphery with at least one outward extending locking cam; wherein the coupling element is arrangeable in at least one arranging orientation in the opening of the object, and is rotatable in the opening relative to the object to at least one locking orientation, in which locking orientation the coupling element is locked in an axial direction and a rotational direction. The invention also relates to a coupling element, object and tool intended and configured to form part of such a modular construction system. External elements such as a skin plate, a fabric, a cord or the like can be attached to a structure according to the invention by means of an attaching element with a shank and a widened head, which shank can be inserted releasably into a continuous opening of a coupling element.
Rotationally engaged toy brick system
A toy brick system is provided having a plurality of bricks each of which has a post positioned extending from a first end of a body of the brick and having a socket at a second end. The post in each brick in the plurality is engageable with a socket of an adjacently place brick in a removable rotational engagement enabling curved and angled configuration of assembled structures. Engagement and disengagement from the rotational engagement can only occur at a specific engagement angle between adjacent bricks thereby maintaining the rotational engagement of adjacent bricks once engaged and rotated out of the engagement angle.
