The Invention is a series of blocks and block areas with interfaces and dimensions that enable them to be assembled into a wide range of useful 3D objects. The blocks, poles, spheres, and their interfaces can build a wide range of useful constructions in the manner similar to how an alphabet describes a wealth of human experience. With knobs, screws, hooks, snaps, magnetic interfaces and combinations of these interfaces, the pieces of the Invention pull themselves together with the strength needed in a particular circumstance. They can also be easily disassembled to form new constructions as needed. The blocks, and their interfaces, are modular and they can in turn build modular objects and constructions, like modular homes.

A system and method for magnetic building block toys that provide free rotation in any direction creating a higher freedom of movement and design whereby when assembled, the building blocks create effects only typically seen in digital environments such as computer aided designs or video game, whereby due to utilizing magnets for these connections, the base play area is no longer restricted to a flat horizontal playing area such as the table or the ground and instead a piece of ferromagnetic material including an iron plate may be utilized as a design area allowing for greater flexibility for creativity.

Furniture and large-scale play structures having ideal modularity

A method for building large-scale play structures having an ideal modularity is provided. The method includes providing panels having a thickness, a planar-quadrangle shape including a length, a width and four chamfered edges with a set of holes located along each edge, the holes located at a fixed interval relative to one another, the fixed interval providing a unit of length, a fixed-location fastening element located in each of the holes, respectively; providing a plurality of movable fastening elements each including a hand-grip to allow the respective movable fastening element to be moved between an unsecured position and a secured position without the use of tools when received by any one of the plurality of fixed-location fastening elements; and employing the fasteners to secure a plurality of the panels to one another to provide a structure that has an overall height, an overall length and an overall width, the structure including at least a pair of panels oriented one above the other and at least a pair of panels located at the same elevation and secured at right angles to one another.

The present invention provides a building piece toy including a first container comprising a first cavity with a first opening, a second container comprising a second cavity with a second opening, and a flexible belt connecting said two containers. The container is tapered monotonously in all dimensions from the opening to the rest of the container's body. Many of the building pieces are interlockable to each other, so a player can create toys with a shape of human, animal, or plant such as lobster, butterfly, peacock and chicken.

Toy building systems including adjustable connector clips, building planks, and panels

Building sets including one or more blocks or planks and one or more connector clips configured to engage a thickness of the planks. Various types of planks, as well as various types of connecting clips may be provided, so as to provide open-ended building characteristics to users. Some connector clips may include a mating protrusion allowing the connector clip to be coupled to a hole or receptacle of another connector clip, or hub for connector clips, or into a hole of a plank. Such clips may be pivotable relative to the structure coupled to as a result of the mating protrusion connection. The building sets may provide proportional dimension characteristics between the planks and various connector clips, hubs, etc. One or more button connector clips may be provided with one or more panels, allowing panels to be integrated into the structural framework created with the connector clips and planks.

Toy construction element

A toy construction element includes a first face recessed from a second face by a recess height, a first peg extending from the second face, and an engaging member disposed on the first face. The first peg has a first peg height relative to the second face. The engaging member may include a column portion and a peg portion, wherein the column portion extends from a first end portion at the first face to a second end portion at which the peg portion is disposed. The column portion may have a column height substantially equal to the recess height, and the peg portion may have a peg portion height substantially equal to the first peg height. A toy construction element may be part of a toy construction assembly, in which an engaging member of the toy construction element connects to a hole defined by a flexible member.
