The main body portion includes a standing wall portion extending along a draw-out direction of the tray from an inner side of the main body portion to a position on or above the placement surface. The standing wall portion has a cutout portion that is cut out in an arc shape to face a draw-out side of the tray.

A model toy includes: a placement table provided in a main body and having a main body-side through hole; a tray having a tray-side through hole and placed on the placement table such that the tray-side through hole overlaps the main body-side through hole in a vertical direction; a rotation shaft provided below the placement table; a conversion part configured to convert a rotational motion of the rotation shaft into a reciprocating motion in the vertical direction; and a moving part provided between the placement table and the conversion part and configured to move in the vertical direction by interference with the conversion part in accordance with a rotation of the rotation shaft. The moving part includes a penetration portion configured to pass through the main body-side through hole and the tray-side through hole and protrude upward from the tray-side through hole by moving upward.

A simulated outdoor gas-fired grill includes a simulated thermometer. A grill assembly includes a grate and a flame plate positioned below the grate. The flame plate includes simulated flame segments positioned to extend through slots in the grate. The grate is movable toward and away from the grate. A cam connected with a knob contacts the underside of the flame plate and moves the plate toward and away from the grate, simulating adjustment of the heat setting of the grill. The grill includes a port to hold the thermometer. The thermometer has a dial face at a proximal end and a probe at a distal end. The probe is biased in the distal direction and is movable inward and outward from a housing of the thermometer. A nut fixed with the probe engages a dial shaft within the thermometer housing. The dial shaft is rotatable about the central axis of the housing and engages with the nut. Movement of the probe, including the nut, relative to the dial shaft causes the shaft to rotate. An indicator needle at the proximal end of the dial shaft rotates across the dial face, simulating measuring a temperature of a food item.

An interactive toy system includes a miniature oven having an oven door, a dial knob, and an internal space. An upper shelf is disposed at an upper position inside the internal space, and a lower shelf is disposed at a lower position that is below the upper position inside the internal space. The upper shelf is capable of moving down to the lower position, which causes the lower shelf to move down to a bottom position. A plush doll is placed on the upper shelf when it is at the upper position. During a play, a dough is placed inside the oven on the lower shelf, and the dial knob is turned to start a baking process. The knob turning causes the upper shelf carrying the plush doll to drop down to the lower position and the lower shelf carrying the dough to drop down to the bottom position.
