Hoist fleet assembly
Described herein is a hoist fleet system including a head block and a guide fleet assembly. The head block includes a plurality sheaves having more than one diameter. The guide fleet assembly can be arranged proximate the head block such that an array of lift lines can be routed through the plurality of sheaves of the head block into the guide fleet assembly. The guide fleet assembly further includes a plurality of guide sheaves and a plurality of plates. The plurality of plates is configured to house the plurality of guide sheaves. The plurality of guide sheaves is positioned substantially orthogonal to the head block. The plurality of plates is further arranged such that the plurality of guide sheaves is arranged on more than one plane. The plurality of guide sheaves is configured to reduce the spacing of the lift lines.
Decorative device with flames that can be raised and lowered
A decorative device which includes at least one controllable winch (8) which is intended for unwinding and winding up an elongated non-rigid element (4), and the elongated non-rigid element (4) is connected to a respective burner (11) at one end (6) and to the at least one winch (8) at the other end (7), and the burner (11) can be moved down towards the floor (1) and up away from the floor (1) with the unwinding and winding up of the elongated non-rigid element (4), characterised in that the burner (11) can be ignited to generate a flame by means of an igniter via a controller (9) arranged outside the burner (11).

Modular lift system
A modular lift system may include, but is not limited to: one or more lift segments each including: a lift-truss structure; and a drive shaft having at least one end-coupler, at least one lift assembly coupled to the lift-truss structure, and at least one drive segment including: a drive-truss structure; a drive motor coupled to the drive-truss structure; and a drive-coupler attached to the drive motor and configured to engage the end-coupler of the drive shaft.
Compact hoist system
A hoist system having a drum primarily self-contained within a batten, for raising and lowering lighting, sound equipment, curtains and the like in a performance environment. The hoist system may be adapted with safety mechanisms including an overload sensor and/or a slack line detector. The system may be provided in the form of a point hoist. The compact system is highly scalable to a variety of spaces and applications, including school and public theaters and concert halls, as well as some homes, private business, etc. Additional features include various cable management systems and trim adjustment mechanisms for use with the hoist system.
THEATRE CONSTRUCTION
A theatre construction comprises a seating area 120 for an audience, a circular support structure 134 surrounding the seating area and mounted above the seating area and a plurality of arcuate screens 135 suspended from the circular support structure. The screens 135 are mounted to the circular support structure 134 on rails for allowing movement of the screens about the seating area.
Devices and methods for holographic screen suspension systems
The present disclosure provides devices and methods for holographic screen suspension systems. These systems can allow for a smooth reflection surface of the screen that is void of wrinkled or non-uniform surfaces.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRE-POSITIONING EQUIPMENT USING PORTABLE AC POWER SUPPLY
A system for positioning equipment comprises a hoist including an electric motor coupled to a pulley for exerting a pulling force upon a tension member that extends to a distal end configured to attach to an elevated structure. The system also comprises a portable power supply including a battery supplying DC power, and an inverter configured to generate and supply AC power to the hoist for driving the electric motor and thereby lifting the hoist toward the elevated structure. A method for pre-positioning a hoist comprises attaching a tension member of a hoist to an elevated structure; generating AC power from a DC source by an inverter of a portable power supply; and lifting the hoist using the portable power supply. Thus, the hoist can be pre-positioned in an elevated location before utility power is available.
LIFT ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lift assembly including an article to be lifted between a lowered position and a raised position, a flexible drive element coupled to the article and defining a longitudinal axis, a power mechanism coupled to the flexible drive element, a drum powered by the power mechanism and dimensioned to facilitate winding of the flexible drive element onto the drum, and a cable keeper providing a force on the flexible drive element to bias the flexible drive element toward the drum.
