A CRYOGENIC COOLING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a cryogenic cooling system and method for particular use in cooling superconducting cables over extended distances, the system and method involving the evaporation of liquid cryogen though an array of spray generators thereby effecting heat transfer utilising the latent heat of vaporisation and optionally through sensible heat transfer in order to provide improved cryogenic cooling over extended distances.
Single-phase immersion cooling system and method of the same
A single-phase immersion cooling system, comprising a fluid-tight containment vessel, dielectric thermally conductive fluid, at least a heat-generating electronic device, and heat exchanger system is provided. The heat exchanger system comprises a pump, heat exchanger, at least a first conduit, at least a second conduit, stand, and at least a propulsion-like apparatus. The at least a first and second conduits have first and second modifiable portions comprising first and second openings. The first and second openings are disposed near to greatest opposing ends of the dielectric thermally conductive fluid contained within the fluid-tight containment vessel generating at least a first flow channel for directing a first flow of the dielectric thermally conductive fluid. The at least a propulsion-like apparatus moves the dielectric thermally conductive fluid from one face to an opposite face in the same direction as the first flow, supplementing and enhancing circulation within the fluid-tight containment vessel.
Cooling device
Provided is a cooling device with which it is possible to cool a fluid to be cooled, even before maintenance work, if a fault such as a blockage or a breakage occurs in a part of a channel. The cooling device (1) is provided with four heat exchangers (1A-1D) and a plurality of heat exchanger connection parts (111-120), each of the heat exchanger connection parts allowing natural gas to flow therethrough. Each of the heat exchangers has: a drum (101, 102, 103, fourth drum 104), a refrigerant reservoir (T), a plurality of heat exchanger core parts (121, 122, 123, 124) immersed in liquid propane in the refrigerant reservoir (T), and a demister (106). A plurality of cooling channels allowing natural gas to flow therethrough are installed, independent of each other, from the first heat exchanger (1A) to the fourth heat exchanger (1D).
HYDRAULIC OIL COOLING SYSTEM FOR VIBRATION TABLE
A hydraulic oil cooling system includes an oil-water heat exchanger, a water-water heat exchanger, and a cooling pool; the cooling pool includes an internal reservoir, a corridor and an external reservoir arranged in turn from the inside out; the corridor is divided into a left flow-making corridor and a right flow-making corridor through two sets of partition walls, an internal and external reservoir channel for connecting the internal reservoir and the external reservoir is arranged under the partition wall; two sets of barrier walls separate the external reservoir into a left external reservoir and a right external reservoir, the left external reservoir and the right external reservoir are connected to the internal reservoir through one internal and external reservoir channel, respectively; and the corridor is connected to the external reservoir through a pumping pipe and a return pipe.
SYNTHESIS OF ALKYL CYCLOHEXANES
Production of C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 saturated hydrocarbon by alkylating a reactant aromatic hydrocarbon with a C.sub.6 to C.sub.24 olefin to produce alkylation product comprising a C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 alkyl aromatic hydrocarbon and subsequent hydrogenation of the alkylation product to produce hydrogenated product comprising a C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 saturated hydrocarbon. The C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 alkyl aromatic hydrocarbon comprises an aromatic C.sub.6 ring and one or more C.sub.6 to C.sub.24 alkyl groups attached thereto. The C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 saturated hydrocarbon comprises a saturated C.sub.6 ring and one or more C.sub.6 to C.sub.24 alkyl groups attached thereto.
