Systems and methods for determining dispense volume of fluid per target for an agricultural fluid application system
A spraying system for spraying a fluid includes a nozzle, a valve configured to control fluid flow through the nozzle, a sensor configured to transmit a detection signal upon detection of a target, a user interface configured to receive application rate information and target population information from an operator, and a control system communicatively coupled to the user interface, the sensor, and the valve. The control system is configured to determine a specific volume of fluid per target to be dispensed by the valve based on the application rate information and the target population information input to the user interface, and to transmit a control signal to the valve at least in part in response to receiving the detection signal. The control signal actuates the valve such that the determined specific volume of fluid per target is sprayed by the nozzle on or adjacent to the target.
Using a small diameter exit hose to improve delivery of liquid through a valve on a nutrient or chemical application system of an agricultural machine
A mobile agricultural machine has a valve controlled to apply liquid material to a field. An application assembly defines a conduit from the valve to a distal application tip. The application assembly includes a distal conduit section that has an inner diameter that is smaller than an inner diameter of a more proximal conduit section, that is closer to the valve, than the distal tip of the application assembly.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for soil and seed monitoring
Systems, methods and apparatus for monitoring soil properties and applying fertilizer during a planting operation. Various sensors are disposed in ground engaging components for monitoring soil properties. The ground engaging components may have structure for opening a side trench in the sidewalls of the seed trench and may include liquid application conduits for injecting liquid into the sidewalls of the resulting side trenches.
Systems and methods for handling fluid for application to agricultural fields
A system for dispensing a fluid includes a container including a sidewall defining an interior space for holding the fluid and configured to separate the fluid into a liquid and a vapor. The system also includes at least one fluid inlet disposed in the sidewall, at least one liquid outlet disposed in the sidewall, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The first sensor is positioned adjacent to or upstream of the at least one fluid inlet and configured to detect a first temperature of the fluid. The second sensor is positioned adjacent to or downstream of the at least one liquid outlet and configured to detect a second temperature of the fluid. The controller is configured to determine a fluid temperature differential based on the first and second temperatures and determine an operational status of the system based on the fluid temperature differential.
Condenser, useful for mobile tank NH3 fertilizer applications, combinable with various options
A condenser that is useful for mobile tank nh3 fertilizer applications is combinable with various options. A single fluid flows into the condenser by an inlet port in a two-phase fluid flow condition (ie., consisting of a vapor phase and a condensate phase) and, during the flow through the condenser, the single fluid cools itself such that for at least a portion of the flow through the condenser, the flow is a single phase flow of condensate only. The preferred single fluid is anhydrous ammonia (NH3). The condenser is combinable with various other options including flow rate measuring, flow rate regulation, flow distribution to multiple outlets, and so on.
GROUND AERATION DEVICE
A ground aeration device comprising: an air supply connector for receiving pressurised air from a source; a supporting element for supporting a drill element for insertion into the ground and a pneumatic hammer for hammering the drill element into the ground; a first pneumatic means comprising a first actuating means for actuating the pneumatic hammer; and a second pneumatic means comprising a second actuating means for controlling supply of the pressurised air through the drill element.
Fertilizer tube system
A fertilizer tube system for efficiently dispensing and placing fertilizer within a furrow to minimize germination injury. The fertilizer tube system generally includes a fertilizer tube having an input opening at an upper end of the fertilizer tube and an output opening at a lower end of the fertilizer tube, an upper connector attached to an upper portion of the fertilizer tube, a central connector attached to a central portion of the fertilizer tube and a lower connector attached to a lower portion of the fertilizer tube.
Fertilizer tube system
A fertilizer tube system for efficiently dispensing and placing fertilizer within a furrow to minimize germination injury. The fertilizer tube system generally includes a fertilizer tube having an input opening at an upper end of the fertilizer tube and an output opening at a lower end of the fertilizer tube, a tab attached to the fertilizer tube between the input opening and the output opening and a guard scraper attached to a lower portion of the fertilizer tube. The guard scraper includes a mounting portion having a receiver channel adapted to be removably attachable to a mounting member of a planter shank of a planter implement, wherein the mounting member is comprised of an inverted T-shaped structure.
ROBOTIC PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS IN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEMS
An autonomous vehicle platform and system for selectively performing an in-season management task in an agricultural field while self-navigating between rows of planted crops, the autonomous vehicle platform having a vehicle base with a width so dimensioned as to be insertable through the space between two rows of planted crops, the vehicle base having an in-season task management structure configured to perform various tasks, including selectively applying fertilizer, mapping growth zones and seeding cover crop within an agricultural field.
SYSTEM FOR VARIABLE-RATIO BLENDING OF MULTIPLE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS FOR DELIVERY VIA A PORTED OPENER
A system to meter multiple agricultural products according to an independently prescribed rate for each in a variable-ratio blend of the agricultural products from a single opener in a plurality of such systems and openers across an applicator such as a drill. Bulk storage compartments associated with the applicator deliver multiple agricultural products to metering assemblies mounted in clusters or pods across the applicator. The agricultural products are fed from the metering assemblies, via a flow re-director, into a manifold, and then into a corresponding single opener having conduits to transport the agricultural product into the soil. Controllers independently regulate metering by the metering assemblies. The flow re-director and manifold provide blending of combinations of the agricultural products for each opener according to a field prescription.
